Last night was our first pizza night of 2020 and this was the only picture I have to document it. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in wanting to save the moment with photos I forget to just be in the moment. It felt so good to just relax and enjoy the pizza making. Do you ever get caught up in pictures you don't fully dive into the moment?
Did you know that moving meditation is a thing!
Yoga teaches me that its ideal to hold the same space, focus and concentration from each practice to the next. To be in the moment and really feel it. I'm lovin it!
Driving in #yeg the last few days reminds me I still have some work to do. 🧘♀️🙏 #yoga#yogainspiration#winter#bepresent#inthemoment #canada 🇨🇦 #meditation
I purchased a gratitude journal last night and decided to bring it with me to work this morning. The first task was to write down 5 "little" things I'm thankful for in that moment. One of them was simply being able to have a window in my office so I could take in "the outdoors" whenever.
It's easy to count our failures & disappointments, but why not focus on our wins (no matter how great or "small") instead!
So let me ask you. Have you taken a moment to say what you're grateful for today? If so, what are you grateful for?
Things may be crazy right now and sometimes the fog seems so "thick" but trust me...someday you'll miss this 💛 And I already do.
3 months into the mom of 2 under 3 thing and I feel my nerves are starting to settle (mostly..I mean sometimes..i mean i try my hardest..you get the point 🤪) I'm with my babies all day everyday but sometimes there is moments where time stands still and I think, how did I get here? How is my first baby 3 years old and a big brother now? Hes pushing my new baby in the stroller!! What!? How is he about to start going to preschool a few days a week? Time doubles in speed when you have kids. Dont let the memories slip away being focused on the wrong things. Enjoy them now, this is the most they will ever love you and want to be with you ❤

Sunday January 19th / 2-4pm.
Life Drawing Yoga is at once peaceful and liberating. Like in a meditation, you are in the moment, lost in time. Move the body through practice in order to come to sitting and creating!
Observing & interpreting the shape of the human body in asana trains you to see every curve, line and subtle undulation found in the posture.
This will give you the opportunity to observe the yoga pose, creating a greater understanding and awareness for your own practise.
The afternoon will combine a half hour yoga class to calm and prepare the mind and body.
Then flow into the life drawing part of the session. Sketches of the teacher in yoga poses – from quick gesture – 30 seconds to two minutes, to more extended poses- 5-20 minutes.
All materials provided.
This class is open to anyone who can hold a pencil!
Tina Mobbs is an artist and yoga teacher and loves creating!
When: Sunday January 19th
Cost: $35 per session
Bookings via our website www.kyoyoga.com.au

For most of my life I have lived on fight or flight mode where I would constantly multitask to get as much done as possible, this would include habits like eating while using my phone and talking to others while working, pretend to be on the airpod talking with my hubby but actually I was reading the summary book app on my phone.
It made me feel important, seen and validated, but it unconsciously manifested stress and anxiety on my mind and body.
I was never fully present at any given time nor emotionally available to the ones I loved, my body was screaming out to me, telling me to slow down, but those voices were drowned out by my ego.
Something that I now embody in life is being at peace with where I am and to just be still. In terms of relationship and relaxing, it is to be able to do things with awareness, being present in the moment and feeling what is happening within my body, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
When this time comes, simply a drift in the suburb nature will help: feeling the cars engine, embracing the breeze, bathing under the sun, sitting beside hubby, and simply watching him driving.
Makes me feel free, relaxed in a trance.
No more anxiety. No more hassle.
No more productivity. No more improvements. I am accepting everything as it is. And at this moment, I realize, everything is perfect.
Having a moment like this reminds me that it’s important to be in a flow of living, be mindful, and be present, no matter what happened in the past or will happen in the future.
