Hola! 👋🏼💗 For my mamas that know nothing about me just going to do a small intro of myself!
My name is Kairish, I go by Kai! I’m a October baby, (turning 30) 😅 Born in Puerto Rico, raised slightly in Bronx, NY and then ended in sunny South Florida! I work in the Pharma Industry. My hobbies consist of drawing and painting which I haven’t done in a while! I love the outdoors even though I break out on my face with heat lol I love anything to do with family and friends 💗 As most know I have a little girl names Kaia Ariella! Oh she rocks my world! I love every single little things about her! From the birth mark on her face , to her crazy sassiness! •
This year, I’m focusing on my health, my IG page, & lord knows (lol) .. saving money! •
Hope you have a Wonderful Thursday! 💗 •
I’m going to enjoy exploring the Chelsea Physic Garden on a weekly basis when I’m lecturing for the English Gardening School! It’s not just the flowers that make important features in the garden and at this time of year it’s the wispy seed heads that make Old Man’s Beard (or Clematis vitalba) stand out, especially in the soft low winter sun. Love it!

#perlesaerie Home from library run just in time to watch Rachel Ray mix up some skinny margaritas - must put tequila on my shopping list. Picked up 3 cookbooks, 2 of which are to get recipes for my virgin spiralizer. The Blue Zones Kitchen is recipes, history and travelogue of places in the world where healthy longevity is a given. Minestrone 3 Ways is flagged for the upcoming cold snap. Then there’s the 10-minute Declutter, because well, baby steps are less overwhelming than trying to do it all at once - sorry Marie Kondo. And tonight’s treat will be rewatching the Downton Abbey movie I saw at the theater when it opened. Buttered popcorn and beer will be involved.
Love my library. 📚 #instabham#instagrambham#iphonephotography#library#books#movies#cat@downtonabbey_official#blackcats#journal#cookbook#spiralizer@inspiralized
Keeping it frosty and hunkered down for January. And for now keeping it #iphonephotography only. I feel like the field showed me it’s time to hunker down. #dothework I keep hearing in my mind. The work is to shoot. Shoot until inspiration to create hits. Use #thelensinyourpocket as often as possible until the work you bring to the table is worth the new laptop that can handle today’s megapixels and 4K. The new mirrorless technology. It took all of fall and near catastrophic equipment failure just as I thought I new what the point of all this was to remind me what guys like @garyvee and @chasejarvis or @danlok are getting at is just do you man. So here’s me back to the basics of living my artistic life. Use the tools at hand, create-create-create, connect in real life, go add value in some way to someone using your talent. I offered to photograph a vehicle for an online add to a regular customer at my job. I also offered my boss to shoot a few product shots. Both jpeg only because I can’t process raw at the moment. When they asked how much I simply said if they increase business or get a better price for your sale, I know we will have future conversations. Finding the humility in the bumps that come in the process was a long time learning. So this is me starting again. Clearer vision, clearly me. #2020
Join us tomorrow night for Writing in Color at @lighthousewriters. We'll spend the first hour in conversation with one another, sharing our ideas, triumphs and challenges, our interests and curiosities. The second hour, we'll host an open mic to share our favorite writing (or stories about our writing) written during the past year. Also, if you can make it at 4:30, we will have a brief discussion about Lighthouse’s future space. See you tomorrow! Link in bio. #vscocam#denvertography#dnvrcolorado#writingincolor
