guardian of the plants 🙅🏻♀️
I had to toss my Ivy today 😭
It was INFESTED with spider mites! I can't say I'm surprised though considering I have been struggling with this plant since bringing it home...now I know why! I decided to toss instead of treat after speaking with a house-plant extraordinaire in which he said Ivy as an indoor houseplants attracts spider mites like crazy! I had no idea!
Luckily it hasn't come into contact with many of my other plants, but I checked and treated everyone anyway 🙏
Swipe 👉🏻 (not my picture)
I included a picture from Google of what a spider mite infestation would look like. These are eggs and webbing! Spider mites can be white, black, or red.
But have no fear! It's a common issue and treatable with neem oil!
BIG Thanks to the very kind “Friend of the Farm” who donated vegetables and ivy clippings today to help Farmer Mary feed the animals at Winterpast Farm Petting Zoo in Wake Forest NC. 🐐🐐🐐The baby goat triplets were a big hit with all ages today. Some high school boys earned service hours helping to spread mulch and some kind volunteers helped Farmer Mary get a tarp on the roof a tall pen and helped get heat lamps set up in three more maternity pens which should be needed soon. 🐐🐐🐐Farmer Mary guesses BUTTERCUP will birth next. Who do YOU think will have “kids” next at Winterpast Farm?
🐐🐐🐐The farm will be open tomorrow for visits from 10-3. Please read “Your Visit” at www.winterpast.org.
🐐🐐🐐FRANCES and her triplet babies are doing very well. FRANCES would love some extra food treats. She has to make alot of milk to feed three babies! With Farmer Mary’s arm in a sling she has trouble getting to the grocery store these days.
Any extra fruits 🍉🍎 I 🍇🍐🥝or vegetables 🌽🥕🥒🥦🍠 you have would be greatly appreciated! 🐐🐐🐐If you don’t have time for a paid Farm visit today but want to drop off some food treats for FRANCES, Farmer Mary will give you a quick baby goat snuggle!
❤️BIG Thanks to all the great farm volunteers and farm visitors who are helping Farmer Mary while her arm is in a sling. Tomorrow she could really use some help setting up more goat maternity pens and with spreading mulch.
❤️Thank you for supporting a small local farm family animal rescue.

One week ago today I became a grandmother!
Ivy Love Langer was born on Sunday, January 19th at 7:22 am. It's been such a pleasure to care for Ivy and Tatiana all week long. Ivy is beautiful and perfect in every single way and I fall in love with her more & more each day.
I am so proud of Tatiana and feel truly blessed to get to share in this sacred rite of passage as my daughter becomes a mother. It was a long and sometimes challenging road to get here and I deeply admire all the strength, courage & perseverance it took. Clearly Tatiana was born to do this. She is embracing motherhood with beauty and grace.
I am the happiest mom [and *Grandmother*] in the world right now!

Sunday is for tea, and friends, and pjs, and all the things to get ready for the week.
Sunday is for my daughter taking over my kitchen doing her baking practice, Michelle, my babies, yoga, soundbaths, nail polish, and cuddles.
Sundays are for EARLY morning walks, coffee, horses, and bubble tea.
Fancy a cream tea session which feels so British? 🇬🇧 here’s the one of the most glitzy ritzy one, Ivy, Chelsea Garden with a very reasonable price (considering the Ivy’s menu in general 🙃). It is served only between 3-5pm for £7.95. So make sure to get there between these hours and book a table in advance. It’s nearly impossible to find a seat without booking if by miracle you are lucky enough to find one. 🤷🏻♀️ Having said that, they are offering 3 sultana scones with strawberey jam, cream, and cream tea (tea flavour of your choice) in one “Cream Tea”. You can also order “Afternoon Tea” that consists of savouries and wide range of sweets for £21.50 or “Champagne Afternoon Tea” which is basically afternoon tea with a glass of champagne 🥂 for £29.95. To be honest, a single cream tea session would be pretty satisfying and delicious enough.💖 It is located in Chelsea, so use District Line or Circle Line train and alight in Sloane Square Station. It’s like 10-15 minutes walk to the station.

The Queen of Swords represents a very perceptive individual, sharp-witted and clever. She is a teacher, a truth seeker and a Problemsolver. Trust and allow for guidance,to come into your life.⚔🦋🌛
Picked up this gorgeous little notebook and howlite, at a metaphysical store yesterday. I have been looking for a new dream journal for a minute and also have been putting it off. The dreams I have been having lately have been wild and I was determined to find a journal. This dream I had, when the new moon came in, was associated with the element air and alot of details associated with Israel and Esther. A week prior, to having the dream, I had been pulling alot of sword cards from my tarot Deck. The queen of swords, kept coming up. Within the dream, there had been some graffic imagery and also some prophetic meanings. There was a terrible war going on and I was in the middle off it, and I was a child. I remember there being a mine full of pearls and rubies. There where women, counting every one of the prescious stones, keeping track of each one. Stringing them on long peices of thread/rope and they hung them high up into the mines. At some point, war had broke out in the mines and there had been women that had lost their lives protecting manuscripts and trying to fight back. At the end of the dream, I remember finally getting away from the madness or so I thought. Next, I was walking though a olive tree orchard and had at some point, came across a small White House where all of the women that had survived, had hid themselves. When I started to walk towards the house to seek shelter, there were guards with guns that started to walk towards me. I started to scream and cry and then I heard the voice of a woman say "Stop, shes important...I will take care of her." She told me her name was Esther, and told me that I needed to be strong and not be afraid. She told me to take her hand and I did.
Then I woke up, I felt like I couldn't move. It was just so intense. It's been a week and a half since I had a dream like this. I actually have them pretty regularly, but, this one was very detailed and felt so real.
Who else keeps a dream journal??🦋🌌

This English Ivy (Hedera helix) has taken on a much deeper hue than its usual color.
