A wander out to the Great Salt Lake over the weekend. This one little corner is the only place the sky lit up as the clouds broke just enough for magic! Will I ever get sick of chasing sunsets???? Hard to imagine 🙏❤️ 🌅

Lake Bled through the trees, this lake has a really nice path all the way around it and it's one of the most beautiful walks I've ever been on. If you look closely, you can see the hot air balloon off in the distance before it came near the Church in the middle of the lake and allowed me to get the shot from one of my previous posts. 🎈

Do you understand how miraculous you are?
If we could only realize how powerful we authentically are. How we can create the life around us and within us. How it all depends on what we believe about the world, other people and ourselves. What we think we are worthy of and then from that belief what we receive, or block ourselves from receiving. For a long time I blocked myself from receiving success, freedom and love by holding on to people, patterns and beliefs that not only didn’t serve me but were toxic.
If you would of told me ten years ago when I started out as an on-set photographer for music videos that my work would one day be featured in a hotel, I’d really not of known what to do with that information except maybe find it difficult to believe. I wouldn’t of thought I was worthy.
Then slowly as I learned more and embraced my natural ability I transitioned from working with my photographic subjects being people to landscapes and nature.
I took what I learned about shadows and light both literally and in terms of the deeper parts of ourselves, society and the earth, and applied it to my work. I found beauty and the miraculous where most people didn’t see anything. I learned how differently my time during photo shoots and the energy felt when I took a few moments to honor the land and set intentions first. I started having conversations with my art and my camera and the living landscapes on the other side of the lens.
I learned to believe in myself.
To have a conversation with my insecurities and imposter syndrome when I didn’t have all the answers. To know that I’m still learning ALL THE TIME and I’m not always going to be perfect and that’s okay. But I’ve finally started to believe I’m worthy.
And as beliefs go, I’m humbled and honored to share this sneak peak of my photographic art featured in a hotel. I’ve worked so long and hard on this and it’s very exciting to share. I hope it serves as inspiration to not give up and know if you believe in infinite possibilities and yourself, it is possible.
What have you manifested in your life by changing your beliefs?

I’d like to take credit for the creative image, but Instagram literally just broke the image when it posted, and I like it. Sometimes when things break they become even better than the original ❤️ ( OG caption “ modern loneliness, were never alone but Always depressed”)

Anyone else notice that foreign, orange body in the sky the past couple days? I managed to document it from Valley Bridle Trail peeking over the rim of Cuyahoga Valley National Park this morning. Seemed to make being outdoors a bit more enjoyable :)
What a unique canyon and @simonisfunk was enjoying the spot from above. I'm so excited about my next journey which will be in New York in April. Can't wait to shoot some urban stuff over there and show you the smoking streets and some individuals randomly walking through that urban jungle. But until April you'll have to sit back and look at the stuff I've been shooting since I have my camera 😁
I asked what message wants to be shared with the world today and then pulled out an envelope with a single word written on it:
It may sometimes feel like we are being swallowed by darkness. I hope you realize this is the opportunity to gift ourselves surrender. To ask for help. To let in love.
It may sometimes feel like all of our demons, shadows and destructive patterns are shouting, but they only do this because we are SO CLOSE to letting them go. And they’re scared because they’ve always been a part of you. But this is the opportunity to realize you are in charge. You always have been. What could it feel like if you welcome these demons into your heart? Maybe instead of fighting them they simply melt away as you accept them. The destructive patterns that once helped you survive but have become outdated? They just want acceptance like we all do. To let in love.
It sometimes feels like fear is running through our veins and pumping through our (very quickly) beating heart. What is it trying to tell you? Besides the obvious at hand situation, fear always has a deeper message, usually something from our past. And then we get to choose which path we want to continue on, of which there’s only two: love or fear.
I hope you let in love, and when you’ve lost your way on its path, return again and again.
