Holy SHIT! Death by LEG DAY! 🦵🏻🤬 We always say the first week of a new program is the hardest but DAMN my legs are jello! If I don’t see results from this program something is wrong with me 😛
It’s also Color Rush Week in our accountability group and today’s color is blue. So to get myself ready for today’s workout I dressed in all blue head to toe and even used a blue water bottle. When the workout got tough I just thought of the girls in my group and on my team who have already crushed their workout today. Accountability is everything! And if your like me you never want to be that one person who didn’t show up or didn’t give their best. I might workout at home in a room by myself but I never feel like I’m working out alone.
Transformation Tuesday! Week 1, Day 2, 80 Day Obsession, BOOTY DAY, with @autumncalabrese . All you need Is lov...I mean loops, and yes a whole lot love to get you through this workout. I've said it before and I'll say it again. These little resistance loops not only kick your ass, but help shape and strengthen it as well 😜 after 2 rounds with 15 moves done 15 times, everything was jiggling like jello. But an hour later, we are done and ready for the day!
It's so easy to let things get us down. To let negativity take over and let it run its course. It's hard to get back up once we fail or fall. But these are also choices. Sometime we have a case of bad luck or run into things that we literally have no control over. That's when we need to take control the most. That's when we need to realize to let go of what we cannot change or choose and to take reign of what we can. Believe it or not, we determine amd control 90% of what happens in our life. Wouldn't you rather have it be positive and beneficial for you and those around you? So start transforming the way you think, even if it's a negative situation you had no control over. Falling down is an accident but staying down is a choice! Choose wisely!
Y’all I’m a little red. After many, many moons I completed a CrossFit wod in an actual box! @smarticus32 and I went to check out @bluecordcrossfit tonight and loved it. God was it ugly as fuck though! My legs were so confused and my muscle memory was shot. A little frustrating, but what can I expect after not working out consistently, this past year. I’m psyched to go back tomorrow, that is if I can walk. #tomatoface#bluecordcrossfit#dayoneagain#jellolegs

I was dripping sweat after today’s @fitnessblender workout. My legs are shaking so I’m sure tomorrow will be rough!
Getting back into a fitness routine, but this time I'm doing something totally different and this first training session left my legs feeling like jello. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress I make over the next few weeks, but right now I'm just going to sit right over here on the floor until I can feel my legs again 😜 .

Who wants to crush legs with me?! You’ll be surprised how much leg day debauchery dumbbells can do. Here comes ALL the Jell-O feels 🤪
I’m in NC visiting one of my besties for a few days and I couldn’t be more jazzed 🤩 It’s been a weird few weeks for me; I’ve been feeling “blah” and not caring for myself in the way I need to (hence my last post). So this will be a good refresher 🍋💦

LEG DAY “FUN” 😈
Happy weekend! ☀️☀️☀️ Who’s crushing some legs 🍑 with me today? Back to my regularly scheduled posts. I love being able to share my life more with ya'll because it's SO much more than the gym. 💃🏼 I typically lose a substantial chunk of you guys when I post more personal things which is frustrating, but I like to think it's God weeding out my garden on here. 😂
Knock out 3x10-12 reps/per side for unilateral movements. 😈 Save for later, tag a pal or crush it with me right now and report back when you're done! ✅
DB goblet wide/narrow pause squats: alternating. I always look really concerned when I do these 😂

You might think I posed holding the wall like this on purpose but the reality is that I’m trying not to fall over from all the dancing 😂 #jellolegs

Stiletto!!! I’ve done a lot of crazy, hard, ready to vomit workouts in my time, but this... I couldn’t get down the stairs, i couldn’t drive my car home, straight #Jellolegs . Who knew adding heels would make such a difference. 👠 Thanks @kblightning for these buns of steel. @yve_plus you ready?

I almost fell down the stairs after taking this pic- that’s how dead my legs were after today’s quad focused workout!
The gym was pretty busy this morning, so I wasn’t able to film my workout for you all. But don’t worry, scroll down to see what I did!
My goal right now is to grow. I’m very happy with where my upper body is at, but my lower body needs some work- so that’s been my focus lately.
What’s my current diet/routine?
I’m NOT tracking macros. I’m eating when I’m hungry and I’m eating intuitively. Oh, and I’m also eating a lot! Progress is made outside of the gym too!
I’m lifting heavy 5-6 times per week and I’m being consistent with my routine.
Sometimes getting bigger or gaining weight can be scary- or more so uncomfortable. But changes aren’t made in your comfort zone.
Always a good lift when I got my #jaycutlerclassicrva shirt on🤙🏼 I know... lifting on a Sunday...what???? I feel like in the bodybuilding world it’s an unspoken rule Sunday’s are rest days😂 but I like to hit my hardest day on Sundays. HEAVY LEGS BABY🍑🍑
I’ve said the word “squats” about a million times since prep ended and that’s because it was 5 MONTHS since I had last squatted...yep I went through all of prep not squatting. I’m still apologizing to my glutes. And the reason? Just that I got discouraged and quit.
My knees started hurting beginning of 2019 and I found I wasn’t able to load on the weight like I was able to before. Instead of trying to figure out what was wrong with my form, I got discouraged and said “ok bye, squats”✌🏼 NOT the kind of mentality Im bringing to this off season.
No matter where you’re at with fitness, we’re constantly learning. Our bodies are constantly changing. One of the hardest but also most exciting parts of this sport is The Unexpected. To a certain extent you can control and manipulate your body to get results you want in the time frame you want, but surprises and setbacks WILL come. Some days it’s just gonna be about rolling with the punches. I got my booty back under that bar two weeks ago because we DON’T BACK DOWN from a challenge. Slowly building my way back up to higher weight, but gotta get the BASICS down first. No pain in my knees yet 🤙🏼 Tear down the house and rebuild the foundation stronger🔥
Andrew and I went on a day date over the weekend and biked 22 miles. (I did a barre class that morning too!) Last summer we would do 40-50 miles, but this was our first ride together this year. 🤦🏻♀️ It was rough coming home and we joked about calling an Uber for the last 5 miles. 🤣
