Gutter and fascia ✅
We had planned on getting a trade in to do all our gutters but due to our guy being booked out we did it ourselves. Was really interesting seeing how everything works, a good learning experience for me for sure 😎
Next- new tiles, going to be awesome to see the existing and new roof marry up to each other, things are coming together!🤪 happy Friday people!!🥳🤩

#throwbackthursday to a year ago when I made these beautiful box joints. Man do I love the look of wood joinery! #tbt
Anyone else riding the struggle train this time of the year? Work to do > Motivation. All I want to do is drink cocoa and bake.
Shout-out to and for always being the realest partners. No exaggeration, I wouldn't of been able to create half the cool things I have if it wasn't for your support and inspiration ✌Thanks guys .
The dining area of our Callala Bay project completed for @claytonorszaczky. The four bedroom home was built in steel and a slim brick over a 14 month period. The house features tallowwood floors in the living and bedroom spaces and terrazzo in the bathrooms and laundry areas. Externally New Guinea rosewood was used extensively to create decks at various levels to deliver a continuous connection between house and pool. Featured in this shot are the Elephant chairs by Kristalia from @fanulifurniture and the Under the Bell pendant by Muuto from @livingedge and a custom made refectory table by @cranbrookworkshop Photography: @prueruscoe

Been busy doing the things. So here’s a little throwback. Live edge spalted maple seat (yes the same one from concrete table... and the clock... and the cleaver) on a castle jointed base from sapele off cuts courtesy of @groveandanchor. This was my first real experiment into proper joinery. There’s a whole mess of half laps going on and there’s only four screws involved that pin the lap into the four way mortise. So that’s cool. I hear it’s mostly covered in clothes now and doesn’t get sat on much. But that’s most folks and their hall benches.
This is what we live for! A challenging project but one that we throughly enjoyed!
Client requested a wine chiller store room to be created in a small basement area. A tight squeeze, down an awkward access, however a couple of surveys, precise setting out and a good end product. Solid oak door and frame, all draught sealed, lockable and 18mm sealed glass units. Veneered Oak wine storage units made to suit space and around wine chiller unit, all Oiled with UV Osmo. Well done team!
Had so many great questions about this #zebrawood I had to follow up with these. More boring tech info. So same boards as yesterday except looking at the end grain carrying through to the face. The plainsawn on the left shows you the growth ring running almost parrelel to the face to the point it almost looks like rotary cut veneer. This board will shrink twice as much in it's width than the Quartersawn on the right. The Quartersawn on the Right has growth rings that are virtually 90° to the face. This board will shrink twice as much in the thickness. The look and properties all change because of the 90° shift of the growth ring orientation. So how important are growth rings now that you know this? #growthrings#Exotichardwood#exoticwood#hardwoods#woodeducation#joinerydesign#joinery#locallumberyard#denvercolorado#austinhardwoodsofdenver

I ended up going for the white (budget friendly) doors... Right now I need to remember I'm on a bit of a tighter budget than my pinterest boards would have you believe. All the doors are currently being painted by my mum (what a super star). I found the living room half glass door on Facebook, the 4 doors required upstairs came from @bandq_uk and the bathroom cupboard door is being painted white. I've also picked up some lovely polished chrome handles from @screwfix_uk
