One of my biggest struggles being a photographer is the post processing. A little weird having in mind I've been a photo editor for the last 7 years. Not that I don't know how it's done. Not that I don't have all the tools. But I can never decide on a single look and stick to it. My first crush was the 'bright pastel' film look, that I very much love to this day. And it looks like a miracle in certain situations, makes everything look pretty. It's was my go-to look for this beautiful summer wedding that had plenty of sunlight and a lot of color. But other times it just can't pull it off :/ Then, I love the moody dark look too, that really highlights the emotions and gives this dramatic effect. But honestly I feel like commiting a crime if I use that on a bright lighthearted summer photograph 🤷 Then there is the washed-out warm tone type of editing that looks stunning on your Instagram wall and your feed is flawless and 100% consistent... But I love color!!! 💐🌇🗻 I still haven't figured it all out... Is it too greedy to want it all??? I certainly do. I'm in the process of refining my presets to fit all these criterias. Feel like if I do, O would have made an actual invention💡
To my fellow photographers: please tell me I'm not the only one struggling! How do you cope with that?
