WCLRR kid Sammy is being kept comfortable at his fantastic foster's home, who happens to be a veterinarian technician, so we know he's in the best hands. We are going to let Sammy recuperate and rest for two weeks and then retest to see if his liver values have improved. He has gained some weight, which is a good sign. We're optimistic that with the medications and a healthy diet, it will help improve our little Sammy.
Thank you to everyone who donated and is keeping Sammy in their prayers. This little guy deserves it! #pawsome#labsarethebest#labrador#labradorretriever#dogrescue

From the WCLRR family of Cleo: "Just wanted to give you all a pupdate on Cleo, who, with every day, is becoming more and more comfortable in her home and more and more attached to all of us. She has brought so much love and joy to us. Last weekend was the one-year anniversary of saying goodbye to our big boy, Reuben, and there's just no way I would have gotten through the rest of the summer or through this time without Cleo. We spoil her beyond, and she delivers constant beautiful unconditional love." For more about our kids, please visit www.wclrr.org.
Here's Pretzel (now Coco). She is with her new friend George. Pretzel is now a healthy, happy kid! WCLRR thanks all the fantastic people who took her into their hearts. "We're All About the Dogs." For more about our kids, please visit www.wclrr.org.
