Quick #yellowfin session this arvo. Way too much surface weed to fish lures, so switched to the dark side and finished up with half a dozen to 38cm. Dinner sorted.

Name that fish... I first thought Moses Perch, it had a black spot but it disappeared when I put it on the ground. It's only palm size. Caught at Paradise Point on the Gold Coast. #goldcoastfishing#fishing#landbased
“It had been a long, slow day on the stones when I turned back to look at the boys who had just about finished packing up. I clicked on the ratchet of the TLD 25 and yanked the main line sending it into a scream. Their reactions were priceless. With the ratchet noise still audible, I hadn’t even finished laughing to myself when the reel came alive in my hands”
Some pics that didn’t make it up this fall. Thanks for a great semester everyone! Successfully ran a kayak and a boat tournament as well as a weekend trip to Sebastian inlet! Look out next semester for more tournaments, and more trips around the state! And of course, thank you to our sponsors @skylinejigs and @bkdlures for keeping us on the fish! And thank you to @ecwaterfront for the weekly fishing trips, keep an eye out for those once winter term picks up!
