Into the forest I go to find my inner peace and listen to the magic whisper of old trees. ⠀
📍In the last days I spent some hours in my local forest and tried to do some woodlandphotography. I had some struggle to find scenes that didn't look too chaotic. Even when a scene looked very nice to the eye, on screen it often was just a mess of green leaves and strange shadows 🙈 After walking around for an hour I spotted this beautiful scene which finally also looked good on screen. I'm quite happy with the result and I did really enjoy just beeing out in the woods by myself, taking my time to find a nice spot. Hope you like it too 😊
The National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine (國民革命忠烈祠) in Zhongshan, dedicated to the war dead of the R. O. C
Built on Chingshan Mountain and overseeing the Keelung river in 1969, the Martyrs Shrine recalls the architecture of the Hall of Supreme Harmony in Beijing's Forbidden city.
The Shrine was built to honour the fallen Kuomintang soldiers after the Chinese Civil War.
The structure houses the spirit tablets of about 390,000 persons killed, among other engagements, during the Xinhai Revolution, Northern Expedition, Second Sino-Japanese War, Chinese Civil War, and the First and Second Taiwan Strait Crises.
