Porlock Bay at sunset just before a summer storm. My trip to Devon and Cornwall was pretty much wet, but the weather offered some windows of beautiful light. Sometimes it's all about perseverance!
We've been stuck indoors so far this week due to the weather, so discussion in the office among the Skye Photo Academy team has turned to our most memorable dawn, dusk, location, etc. When it came to the best dawn of all time, this was an easy one for me, and I reached straight for my Dolomites folder to find something from this particular morning. These conditions were just perfect and they seemed to last forever. I must have taken 300 shots that morning, any one of them worthy of a place on a wall.
It might be a good time to mention that we only have a couple of spaces available for this year's Dolomites trip (Sept 11-19), on which one of the mornings we wake up to this view, as it is literally taken from right outside one of the mountain refuges we stay at.
I hope you enjoy it, and please feel free to share.
Morning in the Peruvian Andes - I’m going through some of my photos from this past year in an attempt to organize them. 🤓 I remember snapping this while juggling a cup of steaming coffee. Pretty blessed moment. Have a great day, Everyone!
