Listen, I know that a lot of you see how many houses I flip on TV, and might have a house you want to send my way, but start to think “there's no way that reaching out to him will work” and yes, I do get a lot of messages... So as much as I want to talk to every single one of you, you can imagine how hard that would be given that I am constantly running chasing deals (or spending time with my kids like I am this weekend!!)
But I want to find as many deals as possible, and really help as many people as possible sell a house that they’ve been needing to sell!
Because in my mind, even though we buy a lot of properties, there is no such thing as too many deals!
The reason I think that… is because the more properties I buy, the larger the business grows, the more I can reinvest into myself and those around me, but it also means that I can help more people who are in need of an option, solution, or even LIFELINE, when they find themselves in a pinch.
If you know of anyone that needs to sell their property fast, that this could help please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, phone number, property address, why you need to sell, timeframe for selling, and your desired offer!

I’ve always loved the modernist monumentality of the Wilshire Colonnade, and consider it to be among LA’s least recognized, most underrated architectural gems. In designing the complex, architect Edward Durell Stone—a frequent traveler to Italy—drew inspiration from the classical forms of Roman antiquity. Stone was a pioneer of this classicist-inspired type of architecture—called New Formalism, which emerged as a negative reaction to the austere minimalism of the International Style.
Here, the New Formalist language is eloquently articulated through its symmetry-based parti of twin 11-story buildings, the exteriors of which are entirely clad in travertine and the walkways paved in Italian Carrara marble. Their inner curvilinear contours frame an oval-shaped courtyard with concentric fountains, landscaping, and seating areas—very much reminiscent of St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City, Rome. Arched colonnades contiguously wrap the full perimeter of each building at ground level, while protruding planar cornices with small rectangular perforations form the roofline.
Grandiose appearance aside, the Wilshire Colonnade was in fact constructed as a monument of sorts. The complex, originally named the Ahmanson Center, was in part the vision of the eponymous LA financier and philanthropist Howard F. Ahmanson, who played an active role in the planning and design process. Ahmanson died in 1968, two years before the buildings’ completion.

MythBusters 👊: Keyes Real Estate Edition! What is the biggest myth in the Los Angeles real estate market? Take 1️⃣ minute and listen to @bradkeyesrealestate and @buywithjosh to find out.

MYTH BUSTED: A 20% down payment is NOT required to buy a home. As Brad and Josh discuss, not only are lower down payment products available, but the likelihood of success using one of these products is much higher in the current buyer’s market.
As Brad and @ryansypek mentioned in their video last month, there is opportunity out there to buy premium real estate in this more “normalized” market, and now is the time to take the leap because this buyer’s market most likely will not last long as the economy starts to re-open.
We have been working hard in this buyer's market, but we are looking forward to announcing NEW LISTINGS NEXT MONTH - stay tuned!
As always, don't hesitate to reach out to keep the conversation going:

UPDATE: According to the latest Wall Street Journal Economic Forecasting Survey, which polls more than 60 economists on a monthly basis, 85.3% believe a recovery will begin in the second half of 2020. In addition, five of the major financial institutions are also forecasting positive GDP in the second half of the year. Today, four of the five expect a recovery to begin in the third quarter of 2020, and all five agree a recovery should start by the fourth quarter.
The vast majority of economists, analysts, and financial institutions are in unison, indicating an economic recovery should begin in the second half of 2020. Agreement among these leading experts is stronger than ever. Message us so we can talk about how this will reflect in our local housing market.

Getting pre-approved before starting the home buying process will save you from a lot of heartache later on. To get pre-approved you need proof of your income/assets. A good credit score (most lenders require a FICO score of 620+) and employment verification. Lenders want all these documents because it establishes you’re a stable borrower. Having a pre-approval letter in your back pocket shows me (your agent) and home sellers that any offer you make is legit👍🏽✉️
Call or email me so I can send you to lenders I trust and let’s get you pre-approved today while the market is hot🔥
Another closing this month 🤙🏼

Sold! 💐 A huge congrats to my wonderful clients who just closed escrow on this incredible 1920s character Spanish. My clients had been looking for a home to call their own for such a long time, which no such luck... that was until we became aware of this off-market casa. As soon as they stepped foot into the house, they knew it was the one. When we opened escrow on the house, the idea of being quarantined wasn’t even an iota of a thought in anyone’s minds.. yet here we are today, closing escrow in an entirely different world than the one we opened it in. My clients are now feeling especially lucky that they’ll be able to spend their quarantining time in their dream home 💛

SOLD! One of the sweetest little homes we ever did see, this Spanish bungalow bursting with charm is the latest sold property from team Canyonhaus. When our team first got this listing we were swooning at the period details, smitten by the porch swing, and gushing over the vintage yellow stove. It's just one of those bright and happy homes that makes your day. Special thanks to @littlehousebigprairie and @takesunset for bringing the perfect buyers. A total love fest all around.

I am a big believer in having multiple sources of income and working for yourself, especially during tough times. This has never rung truer than this past month after I realized that even the “safe option” can easily fail you and leave you wondering what to do next. ⠀
Last month, my safe option failed me. After over two years, it disappeared from one minute to the next, and suddenly it was no longer safe. I found myself among millions of Americans wondering what the next step is going to be. It is scary to realize that something you depend on and have worked so hard for can just simply go away in the blink of an eye. ⠀
Fortunately, I have a strong support system and have been able to take time to re-evaluate. I realize that while I cannot control what is currently happening in the world, I can control how I respond to what is happening. ⠀
I’m starting a new chapter, I am using this opportunity as a way to re-think the way I live my life. I want to create a life where I connect with people genuinely, spend time with my family, where I can grow, build a community and have a positive impact on those I meet. I owe it to myself to work on all the things I had set aside. I am going back into real estate by renewing my license this week and continuing my studies to hone in on my specialty. I will continue to let my creativity grow through photography because through it I find joy and clarity. I am also starting a new project that allows me to work remotely, with a community of like-minded women beside me, supporting me, and celebrating each other’s wins⠀
I will be sharing this new journey here with you. I’ve realized this platform has a beautiful way of uniting people, keeping us accountable, cheering each other on from afar and helping us feel the love even where we are thousands of miles away. ⠀
Thank you for following along and if you read this whole thing, you’re a superstar. I love you and hope you are staying safe. Big hugs!
