LeBron James, in conference call with reporters, says he “won’t have any closure” if the NBA season doesn’t resume.
He says he’d take satisfaction in having had some memorable times/games with Lakers teammates this season but, “Closure? No.”
He says he’s been going to the homes of some friends who have basketball courts that have been “wiped down.” He’s had solitary workouts, and even some with his son, Bronny, but hasn’t worked out with teammates.
He’s been working out four or five days a week.
LeBron called the coronavirus pandemic “a roadblock for all of us” and “a test.”
“We’d become so comfortable with all of our lives. Now it’s time to take a pause,” he said.”
He said the obvious priority is to get the virus under control, but if so, “I’d love to get the season back going … I feel like we’re in a position where we can get back and start competing for a championship … making our Laker faithful proud of us."
“Will there be another game this year with NBA fans in the stands? I truly hope so. I don’t know, but I truly hope so."
In a perfect world, “it would be with fans in the stands,” he said. “It just makes the game that much better.”

@kingjames on a conference call earlier today: said he has been training four or five times a day and is shooting on his outdoor court with his kids...He also stressed that safety is most important. But he admitted, "I don't think I'll be able to have any closure if we're not able to finish the season." #Lakeshow#Lakers#KingJames#LeBronJames

On this day in 2017, Damian Lillard erupted for 59 points in a crucial victory 101-86 against the Utah Jazz. He scored 26 POINTS IN THE FIRST QUARTER.
I felt like a “Quarantine share” today, let’s go!😁 17 years ago today @kingjames met Michael Jordan rocking a pair of Vince Carter VC2 PE’s in a stunning UNC colorway. I haven’t pulled these out of the Vault in many years, today was the perfect day for fresh pics & video! These are size 16, DS, still in flawless condition over 17 years later. Hey @kingjames , do you still have your UNC VC2’s in the stash?? Please give us a little peek if you do! On a serious note, I hope everybody is hanging tough and staying healthy & safe during this ongoing craziness. Being locked down sucks, I get it! BUT, it’s the only way we can get to the other side of this sooner than later.... With some extra free time, I’m going to do my very best to ramp up the IG sneaker shares in the coming weeks! If you have any special requests, drop them in the comments & I’ll see what I can do!😉 #StayHome 🏠🙏🏼

Damian Lillard on his range:
“I can pull up from half-court comfortably. The only reason I haven’t done it is because I don’t wanna push it that far consistently.. but I can literally do it” 😳
Which team do you think is best at developing young talent?
I think Miami, Toronto, Indiana, Denver, and San Antonio (although they’ve slipped in recent years they were at the top of this group for awhile) are all in this conversation
Anyways, i’d give Toronto the nod here. They’ve done a fantastic job in recent years of finding underrated talent to fill out the roster, and developing late picks/G-Leaguers into quality players. In the past couple years, they’ve acquired:
Fred VanVleet: Undrafted
Pascal Siakam: 27th overall
Norman Powell: 46th overall
Terence Davis: Undrafted
OG Anunoby: 23rd overall
Chris Boucher: Undrafted
This ability to dig out underrated players is what separates them as a championship level organization and certainly was huge in them winning the title last year
