These are the machines which helps me complete this adventurous trip #1 RE himalayan 410 cc #2 RE bullet 500 cc #3 RE classic 350 cc

You can see the houses and ancient monuments. In the 3rd pic you can see one of the beautiful monasteries of Leh - Spituk Gompa and in the 4th picture you can see Leh Palace. In the last pic you can see the highest peak of Ladakh - Stok Kangri in the distance.
You can see the contrast of the terrain. The city is surrounded by the yellow dry mountains and also the snow capped mountains at the same time. There is a big green patch which the the main city, due to less oxygen levels, people have planted trees to get more oxygen in the air. Now the city is full of hotels and resorts. Many years back Leh was dependent only on agriculture and now it is a travel and tourism dependent place. Where people have left their farms and have started building hotels. It's a must visit place.

I don't know where these roads lead me to,
Nor do I want to know anymore,
For I'm here to walk
Upon the paths that are gifted to me,
And then who am I
Of these paths,
Or the purpose
Of these desires within me,
For they're here for a reason.
Winters of Ladakh have its own beauty worth witnessing at least once. I had the chance to see the waning of the winter this March.
Everything that I was used to seeing seemed completely unrecognizable! From the snow layered roofs to white mountains all around.
From the complete absence of green both in the surroundings and in food to the frozen pipes and ice layered buckets of water!
I was very excited for the snow, coming from Bombay. But I also witnessed first hand, the difficulties of such high elevation mountainous living. The biting cold, the effort and patience of Ladakhis in their way of life. And the ruthlessness of nature. Unforgiving and harsh. But excruciatingly beautiful, all the same.
Simple but exciting things I did, which maybe you could too:
1. Morning runs on frozen Indus streams (like this one. Yes, it's the Indus on hold.) 2. Unending number of namkeen chais while wrapped up in atleast 3-5 layers. Butter tea takes time to get used to. And winters is the best time to taste it's necessity and benefits.
3. Having a frost bite/ chilblains in the mornings /nights and a sun burn in the afternoon on the same day; Sometimes at the very same time! (Tip: Don't use the heater too much, too soon and up close. The extreme temperature differences cause chilblains quickly. They were painful. 😣😅 4. Snowmen and footprints on snow fields! Oh the scrunch. Scrunch. Scrunch of the snow below my feet. 😇
5. Soaking in the oh-so-wonderous views all around! They are best enjoyed from inside a warm glass room of a well thought out local architectural Ladakhi house! For authentic homestay options, DM me and I'll try to help you out! 😊
I was sleeping in the cab while passing through this view. I suddenly woke up and looked outside the window and there was this beautiful view of lake. I didn't have time to take out my camera, so i took my phone out and made this frame from a moving cab. I wanted to stop there for few minutes and frame this view from a different perspective but we had to travel a long distance that day(Jispa to Leh), so we couldn't stop at every beautiful scenery which is almost everywhere on the way to Ladakh.
P.S. This is Suraj Tal also called Surya taal. It lies just below the Bara-lacha-la pass in the Lahaul and Spiti valley of Himachal Pradesh, India.
A couple of days ago we decided to climb the Shanti Stupa which overlooks the city of Leh. To give you an idea there are 500 steps to climb from the city (we took the mountain road instead). We were obviously the stupid ones as we decided to do it again that evening for sunset. #shantistupa#leh#sunset
In the next few days, will keep on posting the majestic view from Leh, Ladakh. Pemandangan dan landscape spektakuler yang bisa bikin kita malu jadi orang kota 🙈🙈
📎A stupid continuous urge to go #beyond the usual #roads often stages us in settings which goes much beyond our own #imagination ... Maybe that's why we #travel ; travel further and beyond, with the hope of a #surprise on the other side of the #horizon .... Or just loose #sand (quite possible) - but when did that stop us from taking the #trail running off the tarmac 😆
Breakups are beautiful sometimes.
All you need to do is just feel it the other way.. Sometimes you need to rewire yourself to sort your life, to figure out what you love the most, to figure out who you are without the person whom you used to think is special, to figure out that it is necessary to enjoy your precious alone moments, to give sometime to your old forgotten hobbies, to fall out of love with that person and fall in more love with your ownself.
I know it is painful to come out of this situation, but a strong person definitely knows how to use this pain as a weapon to stand strong. It is just upto you how you accept it.
Either you can go out, get drunk, call your ex and repeat this cycle.
Or you go out, work on yourself and figure out how beautifully you can survive even after a heart break. Because if you can come out of it strongly and happily then I guess you will be thankful to your ex for this breakup and you will never feel bad about it.
Always see the bigger perspective. 😊
Amidst the stark and barren Nubra valley stands the beautiful and milky white Diskit monastery- the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra!
Pictured here is the gigantic Maitreya Buddha an iconic of this Monastrey.

Much excited by the name of Magnetic Hill, we made a stop here enroute Alchi village. Located at a distance of 30 km from Leh city on the Leh-Kargil Highway is a small stretch of road that is said to defy the phenomenon of gravity with a magnetic effect that pulls stationary vehicles upwards.
However we didn't experience anything as such on this stretch and asked a few locals around the area about it who also said this effect is no longer valid and it just remains as a popular tourist spot because of the hype around it!
No complaints though, it's a nice uphill long stretch of road to take a photo stop or also ride the dirt bikes in that are available in the area on rent!
Any of you who have been to Leh experienced this? Let me know in comments below!

I promise that's the last one from Pangong- also reflects the exact feeling I had when I took this picture. We were all set for our 5 hour journey back to Leh from Pangong and I was in my comfy ripped joggers and crop top when we passed by this wonderful patch with not a single person around and guess what there I was with my pose ready 😇
