Alex 3:4 (...) "Lisbon has amazing architecture and the light is unbelievable! I have a unique view of the river from my home. Sometimes when I wake up and I make my coffee or tea, I look to my window and I am like - wow, this view, the light and the colours of the sun rising – it’s really inspiring.
Here I feel a bit like I am living in the countryside, compared to Warsaw, which is a super intense city. Living here I created a space to disconnect, to focus more on myself, I enjoy nice walks and taking a break at the Miradouro de Graça or my window.
My apartment is super tiny, which is very annoying. I don’t really consider it as a proper apartment. Some friends say it’s a boat, everything has to have its place and you have to be very mindful about the space because it’s so small. On the other hand – I have this amazing and breathtaking view, that doesn’t make the house seem too small. Still it’s not the place I would like to stay my whole life."

Interview by @irenekonova .
No to dziś zapraszam Was do Lizbony 🚋 – miasta, gdzie na każdej uliczce, podwórku, czy w zaułku coś Was może zaskoczyć. 🤗
Alex 2:4: "After 6 years of living in Lisbon, I like to describe it 'my toxic love affair'. I love Lisbon a lot, I truly and genuinely miss it when I'm away, but I also think it’s a very challenging place to live in. First, the way the city is shaped and built upon the 7 hills. If you want to live in a nice neighbourhood you constantly have to walk up and down, which definitely determines your shoe choices, how you dress basically.
It's also complicated to commute, the public transport system is quite challenging here, not user-friendly. The time I finally got my scooter really changed my life, now I can freely ride from one side of the city to the other. Thanks to the 7 hills and the beauty of the city it’s an amazing place to ride a motorbike, it makes you feel like you really belong to the city." Meet Alex, hat and fashion designer born in Paris, raised in Warsaw
1:4: "I moved to Lisbon in 2014 because I received a scholarship to continue my studies, I wanted to learn more about brand management and leave Warsaw. Warsaw was changing a lot, becoming very commercial. Most of the places we used to go started to disappear or being transformed into money-oriented places. So I decided to come here.
I consider Lisbon one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. It’s now changing a lot as well. I like this change because I was missing some diversity in the city. When I came here everything was very Portuguese! For instance, if you wanted to eat Mexican food, there were no good Mexican restaurants. Now it’s amazing how you can find anything, but on the other hand, I think it’s a bit too tourist-oriented, you don’t feel like you are part of the city, a local. Even if you go to the same coffee place every week, they won’t pay attention or make an effort to recognize you. I know, I also live in Alfama, a very peculiar neighbourhood, it’s a typical yet touristy one. I think it’s a city where you have to compromise to be here." Do you agree with Alex?
Perguntei a ambos:
O senhor acenou em tom positivo.
A senhora respondeu:
“Tenho, tenho, mas não dou a ninguém!!”
Demos uma risada.
O fecho ficou perfeito.

She moved to Lisbon from Almada to go to University. With a background in Psychology, she is now a researcher in human robot interaction: „I’m interested in study the interaction of people with social robots, so robots that interact with people and understand them. I would like to understand how we can use robots to empower humans. Specifically I’m trying to use robots to increase creativity in people.“
She lives in Alvalade: “Alvalade is nice for me because it’s like a self-contained neighborhood, you have everything here, you don’t need to go away. For me, it is amazing to live here, with people that I really enjoy.“

Zmęczona (to miasto to ciągłe up&down :p), ale naładowana pozytywną energią. Podróże bez wątpienia działają terapeutycznie.
