Yesterday between spouts of service on a pedal trip I caught glimpse of footage back home. Someone set the bike park on fire during protests. Erics bike park. My eyes welled up as my friends voice quivered in the recording “ @e_long_ jump might be gone...” my heart aches. I’m sick to my stomach. Not only for sentimental reasons but for the world. For the human race. All of it. I avoid posting world issues on this platform, the whimsical side of me wishes this would all go away if we ignore it long enough... but it won’t. People are hurting. Riots are a cry for help. I’ve been thinking a lot about the current climate, racking my brain for ideas how I can actually help in the #blacklivesmatter movement. I have to be honest... I cringe at the “I understand” posts. Because here’s the thing, as a Caucasian woman, I don’t. I can’t say I do and I won’t pretend I do. I am not now, nor have I ever been in those shoes. Saying “I understand” because *anything* is as relevant as the woman who told me she “understood” Erics suicide loss because her cat just died... Not in the same playing field. I understand that I will NEVER understand. But I feel for you. I will stand for you. I will stand with you. This change needs to happen and it won’t be over night with mass destruction. There IS power in unity, so let’s unite. It starts in our homes. With our families. Our kids. Don’t just colorblind and dilute the efforts of so many who fought for equal rights. Educate them. Give them the hard facts. History. Love on them. Then teach them to love and accept EVERYONE. Because on the inside we’re all the same color. We all hurt, we all bleed, we’re ALL human. We should be treated as such, given the same privileges, the same opportunities, the same starting line in this life. So let’s take the strides to get there. No one is born hating another person, hate is taught. So is love. Let’s spread the love, stop the hate and raise a more equal, hopeful, loving generation.
To those who choose to protest and march for equality this week as well as those officers in the line of duty. I’m rooting for you. All of you. Stay safe. Be kind. And when you can’t have empathy practice sympathy 💔
Beautiful Butterfly Effect
In chaos theory, the butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state. ... A very small change in initial conditions had created a significantly different outcome.

I’m heartbroken & angry over the injustices committed against the black community the past few weeks, as
I’m sure you all are. Honestly, I’m ashamed I haven’t spoken up sooner about racial injustice in this country. I need to do better. White people, we all need to do better.
My first real education in racial inequality was a class I took in college called Race & Racism in the U.S. Before that I didn’t think I was racist because I grew up in a racially diverse neighborhood; I had friends & roommates from different backgrounds; and I “didn’t see color” because I naively believed that everyone was equal.
But I was SO wrong. While I may not have ever personally inflicted violence upon a POC, I had certainly made racist jokes. I had ignored the innate privilege that comes with the color of my skin. And I had some deeply rooted prejudices that I needed to unlearn.
Some of those prejudices were borne from the way black people are stereotyped in popular culture, but most were borne from my own ignorance & that was on me to fix.
So I began doing the work to dismantle the subconscious beliefs of white supremacy I was carrying around (see slide 2). And fellow white folks, if you’re just starting to do this work it’s a lot to unpack, but we HAVE to confront & unlearn the ideas of white supremacy that were indoctrinated into us from childhood, regardless of where in this country you grew up. People’s lives literally depend on it.
While I’ve done some work, the past few weeks have made it clear that I still have A LOT more to do to actively become anti-racist. I need to continue to listen to black voices. I need to continue to educate myself on the injustices that black people face in this country. I need to use my voice to make it clear that BLACK👏🏼LIVES👏🏼MATTER👏🏼. I need to speak up when people make racist jokes. I need to continue to advocate for environmental justice in marginalized communities.
I know I can’t single-handedly solve the problem of systemic racism. None of us can. But if we (white folks) lall take steps to do the work, we can begin to sow seeds of change for a just & equitable society. #GeorgeFloyd#BreonnaTaylor#AhmaudArbery

New strain drop! Blue Widow is a mouth watering cross between Blueberry and White Widow. The dominant terpenes are Linalool and Myrcene, which are sedative terpenes that will provide you with a relaxing and euphoric high😍🕸
Is it just me or do rock scrambles in the warmer months always feel a bit like playing on a jungle gym potentially infested with rattlesnakes 😅

I’m not going to stand here and tell you that it’s going to be easy. Actually it might be the opposite.
It’s going to be hard.
It’s going to challenge you.
You’re going to sweat.
You’re going to have to modify.
You’re going to question.
You’re going to have to eat veggies.
Some days you won’t “feel like it”.
It’s not going to happen over night.
It’s going to take time + consistency.
You’re going to need accountability + support.
But let me tell you, quitting isn’t going to speed it up.
Yeah, it’s not going to be easy, but I can promise you one thing, it WILL be worth it.

𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 🍄✨
We’ve driven past this spot countless times before, but this time decided to make it a destination. Since it’s so accessible (literally off the main road), the best time to go is definitely at night - 3am thru sunrise in our case! 🤠
We saw a ton of shooting stars, and some mysterious moving lights that did NOT appear to be stars or planes 👽 maybe we were on Mars... ☄️
We spent Memorial close to home exploring the trails that are less traveled on. •
I’ve adventured out to these petroglyphs in the Mounds countless of times starting at a young age on my Yamaha 150. Many memories have been spent out here and it makes it better to continue to spread those memories with @twinklenuts919 and @josiemaynarich by taking them both out there for the first time. •
If you would like to create memories out here with your friends and family, DM me for directions. Just remember to look, don’t touch and pack out whatever you pack in.
Explored a new canyon today which was 🔥 Although that could also be because it was 90 degrees in SLC today.

Going UP! 💚🏔🏃🏻♀️
Day 4 of the Limitless Vertical Challenge, and goal of 15k done! Had a blast this week shifting focus to gain over pace, smiles over miles, and sharing the trails with such an amazing community of runners. Happy trails!
I’ve done my nutrition right and I’ve done it wrong.
I’ve dropped weight quickly in attempt to improve my performance, yet it had the opposite effect. I didn’t have energy, I didn’t have power... I didn’t have fuel.
I’ve focused on my habits and listening to my body. I didn’t drop weight, yet I felt healthy, powerful, and had my best days of climbing.
I know so many of us have had similar experiences. This is why I’m so passionate about working with climbers to help dial in sustainable nutrition.
I have a BIG announcement coming on Friday. My email list will hear it first.. join in the link in my bio!

If you know me, you know I’m a sucker for striped, colorful, candy-esque formations (who isn’t?!). This past weekend delivered, in force! I always see pictures of these hills heavily edited to bring out the whole spectrum of colors, but I like the au naturale version just as much. Case in point - this shot came out so vibrant I faded the edit so the colors would seem more realistic!
I’m afraid winter is my least favorite season, especially in Utah...apparently I need to get back into snow skiing🙈 Also, yes, Luna was extremely jealous that I would dare to love on someone other than her...this is also a major issue with anyone that I date😂😆 #savannahsomewherewithluna & Jeb💜
