A Billion Baguettes.
Leaving windy and wet Iceland was a bittersweet feeling. Felt sorta like leaving an old friend but that moment of melancholy was lost the moment I arrived in Paris and saw my buddy waiting for me at Arrivals. Next came days of reminiscing, catching up, and way more bread than I should have eaten. Who am I kidding? There are never too many pastries to consume, especially in a place like Paris. City of Light? More like City of BREAD. Now I'm hungry again.
@henry_do // Copenhagen, Denmark. These are just a small piece of what’s called ‘Colony Gardens’, literally a garden space that Danish citizens can rent to grow produce & vegetables. Space is extremely limited if you’re living in the main city so this is the perfect way to have your own gardens & get back to nature! Owners are allowed to live there between April-October to take care of their gardens (can’t grow anything in the winter)
What a unique way of contributing to a better planet. #copenhagen
An aerial view of the southern end of Værøy, one of Norway’s Lofoten Islands, reveals a towering ridge running through it like a bony spine. Værøy is home to a population of fewer than 800 people but millions of nesting seabirds, and it frequently hosts bird-watchers who flock to the island by helicopter or ferry.⠀
