Yesterday I shared in my stories that I caught myself feeling a bit stressy and overwhelmed with my to do list. I was reminded by my lovely assistant Melissa that I just need to “task it out”. It was a good reminder that it’s important to balance the work load and allow others to step in and help. Being a big “doer” and “dreamer” means that I’m always going to have a big to do list and that’s ok as long as I’m balancing it and spreading the work load. I’m better off taking on what “I” can do well and letting others help me with the overflow. One of those things has been hiring an assistant and also having a house cleaner come a few times a month. It’s amazing how much more efficient all the dreaming can become when we let go and let others:). It also allows me the time to be creative and do fun little DIY’s which I’ve realized is good for my soul!
Can you relate? What tips do you have for balancing the to do list? Do you have a soul filling activity? I’d love to hear!

Season of Cheer GIVEAWAY 2/7⠀⠀
Today I am so excited to introduce to my sweet sister in law, Jeanne, the founder and creator behind @hidden_hollow_farms .⠀⠀
Sweet, caring, resourceful, and passionate about all things natural healing, I’m constantly amazed at the products she creates.⠀⠀
They say the best businesses are based on solving a problem: and problem we had! Several of my nieces and our boys struggled with diaper rash and eczema. Jeanne saw a tremendous need for baby products that were effective, paraben free AND affordable. So she took her can-do attitude to the kitchen and with a lot of research and some trial and error, created an incredible all-natural diaper rash cream that worked like magic. In the middle of all, this Jeanne was walking through a long journey with infertility. It was so like her to pour herself into caring for others, in spite of her own heartache. ⠀⠀
Now, Jeanne is mama to two adorable little girls and continues to research and test natural healing remedies. Hidden Hollow Farms now offers an incredible line of handcrafted soaps, salves, balms, and of course, her signature Baby Cream. Jeanne grows many of the botanicals she incorporates and sources ingredients locally. All of her products are available in her Etsy shop and can also be found at several retailers in Chimacum and Port Townsend. ⠀⠀
Jeanne’s soaps are staple in our home; made with saponified lard, coconut and olive oil, they lather beautifully and are incredibly moisturizing. ⠀⠀
During the holidays, these gems are my go-too for gift giving. They’re affordable, smell amazing and are the PERFECT stocking stuffer and gift for teachers. ⠀⠀
Today, we’re partnering to give away a set of three of Jeanne’s most popular soaps: Peppermint, Lavender and ‘Hippy Dippy’ (featuring cedar wood and patchouli). ⠀⠀
To enter to win this #giveaway :⠀

2) Follow @hidden_hollow_farms ⠀⠀

On Tuesdays Wilder spends the morning at our health food store with his aunt. She spoils him rotten with treats and toys, but the best part is that there is this full sized dog decoration in one of the bathrooms ( why, I don’t know?) they have named him Rascal. He now wears a handmade collar, they’ve fashioned him water bowls and food bowls and I’ve even pulled up on occasion to see them outside with “Rascal” because he needed to go potty😂😂😂 Anyway, that’s a long way of saying that I’m not always thrilled with where we live, and I often have dreams of moving away. But my goodness, it is nice to be near family🧡
This craft room was a tough one to tackle. It took over 7 hours to organize all the craft and party supplies. Now it looks amazing!! 🎉

“The only way to have a friend is to be one” - Ralph Waldo Emerson
I was reminded today that friendship is a two way street and not a one-way road. It’s important to invest in the people who invest in you. You’re only as good as the people you spend time with so surround yourself with the ones who push you to be better and bring out the best in you. I’m grateful to have found that in my squad ❤️ Tag a friend who inspires you
@by_spode is my favorite. The Blue Italian print dishes are my go to everyday dinnerware and serving platters and I love that I can use it for special occasions as well. Doesn’t this sound like an ad? It’s not. I wish! 🤪 Take a closer look in my stories today.

The art of stillness is definitely one to master. Not laziness, but “in the present stillness.”✨
The practice of being in-tune with your heart, mind, emotions, and others’ as well. It’s seeking to connect and build connections. It’s unraveling those worries or fears and presenting them with hands open to take the goodness and the quiet confidence that’s yours for the taking. Not because of anything you’ve done or earned. But because those things are your birth right.
Stillness. Such a strong habit to practice and master continually.💕Listen to the voice that says you are worth loving. Worth knowing. Because that is truth.
|Trying to pay it forward; and teach our boys to love people, not things.|
We have been so blessed by the huge amount of love you all have shown to my boys. All the cards, messages, and gifts have seriously touched our hearts so much. We are so grateful!! Seeing how much those cards & toys cheered up my boys was just priceless.
We wanted to pay forward some of the kindness we’ve received. We were lucky and only had to spend a few weeks at the hospital, compared to some kids who are there much longer. I was so sad for the kids that didn’t get to come home yet. Knowing how comforting a cozy blanket can be, or how happy toys can make the kiddos in the hospital we decided to donate a bunch to the kids still there.
Griffin was so excited and had so much fun picking out stuffed animals and toys for the kids. My mama heart exploded as I watched griffin trying to drag these two huge bags of goodies into Primary Children’s Hospital. With a huge grin on his face he turns to me and says “They are going to be so happy! This makes me happy!” Me too buddy, me too. 🧡
Just a little reminder to love people, and not get caught up in loving things. ☺️🧡
