MY HAPPY PLACE ++
It's taken me a long time to realise it but writing is part of my soul. Over the years, I've turned away from it, not believing that I was good enough, that it was just an impossible dream. But each and every time I have felt there is something missing in my life.
I believe we all have a purpose in life and I know now mine is to write. To create worlds and characters and adventures that can take me, and hopefully my reader, to a different reality. Where magic is real and hope and inspiration are the guiding light.
This week I am determined to finish writing my first novel. It's a journey I started a very long time ago. I still have the notes from way back in 2005 when I first came up with the idea on a writing course at my local college. I don't regret that it has taken me so long to get to this point as I have learnt so much in life that has helped me make this book the best it can be. However I'll be honest and say I hope it won't take me 15 years to write the next one!

The Four Hour Workweek made me realize that I wasn’t crazy because I never thought being in a 9-5 working for someone else was the way to go for me. It took me YEARS to start but I have finally started putting parts of the @timferriss’ #4hourworkweek plan into effect and I’m loving it. This book was a game changer for me. I’ve read Rich Dad Poor Dad twice, but the first time I wasn’t ready. I’m older and wiser now and the second time around I walked away with so many gems. I have to give the rest of the books on this list s read as they are recommended by trusted sources. #biggerpockets#realestateinvesting#selfemployment#livingthedream

This iconic suspension bridge is a must-visit when in California! It’s pretty easy (and free) to walk across the bridge itself, or to explore the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center or simply admire this majestic structure from various viewpoints.
Ever since we started our world journey, we've only posted 2 photos (of 28) captured with our mirrorless Sony. And when this particular photo was fully processed, it became hard to imagine why a mirrorless would be needed at all in the near future for all social media postings including Astrophotography. As long as a big print is not required, the Sony will stay in the bag.
This photo is a composite of a sunset shot combined with a long exposure of the Milky Way. It was effortlessly captured by the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom and only needed a small tripod and a bit of Photoshop.
But then we saw a kid take a *handheld*, software stabilized stunning shot of the Milky Way with his Huawei P30 Pro. It was the clearest sign that camera software will dominate the future of photography.
