After Chinatown dessert tour yesterday Dean and I were walking home to Clapham. And when we passed St James Park I was like - why don't we go for some food. It was 9 o'clock and after a bit of walking I got slightly hungry.
Covid measures ✅
Staff are friendly as ever, and are wearing masks. They give you some hand sanitiser upon arrival and take your temperature. You also need to fill in your details to help with track and trace. Tables are really well spaced out and you can notice that they are ultra serious about hygine.

Everything was lovely! It was so hot and these dishes were light enough to keep us fed. Cornfed chicken was perfectly tender and flavourful. The dressing for whelk was SO INCREDIBLE - a must order whenever I come to @malasichuan. Prawns were big and juicy, perfectly cooked. Morning glory is possibly my favourite veg to order in Chinese restaurants but I have always had them with garlic, so we decided to try with fermented bean curd and chillies - I know it sounds a little strange but it is SO GOOD! Definitely getting these again! 😜
They are participating in #eatouttohelpout scheme, it was less than 20 pp for a really good meal. Highly recommend. ❤️

I usually only make this at Christmas my garlic and rosemary crusted prime rib . But i’m feeling the need to make it sooner lol
This classic French dessert was actually super easy to make!! Crème Brûlée is also known as burnt cream and is a dessert consisting of a rich custard base topped with a texturally contrasting layer of hardened caramelised sugar!🤩 By following this recipe, I guarantee the perfect smooooth custard wobble and a crisp caramel topping!!🤤
450ml Double Cream
1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
6 Egg Yolks
70g White Sugar
White sugar, to caramelise
1. Preheat oven to 150°C
2.Add Cream and Vanilla to saucepan. Bring the cream to a boil, then remove off heat
3.In a bowl, combine the egg yolks and sugar until lighter in colour
4. Gently pour the cream SLOWLY into the eggs while whisking constantly
5. Pass the liquid through a sieve and divide the mixture into some ramekins
6. Place the ramekins in a deep tray and pour in enough hot water to come halfway up the side. MAKE SURE THERE’S NO WATER INSIDE THE CUSTARD
7.Place in oven for 40-50 mins and then once cooked set in a fridge overnight
8. THE NEXT DAY, sprinkle a spoonful of sugar on top and place under a grill until caramelised. Allow to cool before serving

First things first, NO that is not a typo and YES they do a CHEESEBURGER flavoured samosa.... I’m telling you now McDonald’s may as well go out of business because they tasted better than any burger I’ve ever had 🤤
Crisp levels were 10/10 which is essential for a samosa, flavours were superb and the packaging is eco friendly and cute af.
Can’t recommend these enough and luckily for you lot they deliver throughout the UK! Sack off your dinner plans and go try that cheeseburger samosa 🏃🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️
