✨Growing Pains ✨
Gosh I’ve been experiencing so many growing pains recently! I’ve learned a lot of things about my past and why I am the way I am, and I’ve learned to let go of some fears that I’ve had for YEARS. It’s been so challenging to go through what has felt like a roller coaster emotionally, but boy am I grateful! Being freed from some of these fears has actually been an actual relief. I’ve also realised that I have something I really don’t like about myself - I’m not super quick to forgive people. I asked someone close to me this week - “do you have space for my mistakes? Because it doesn’t really feel like you do” and I realised that I’m their mirror image in some cases. I sometimes don’t have that much space for people to make mistakes. But I want to. I’m working on it. It’s so important to be able to let go and love people better and forgiving before I hear “I’m sorry.”
It’s been a season of growth, and you know, I’m so thankful for it. It’s a little uncomfortable but growth is amazing and I wouldn’t change that 💖
“Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.”
Colossians 3:13 💖
London is extremely famous for its red buses, the black cabbies and the retro tube signs that we all love. However, It SHOULD be more famous for its beautiful canals!
The Regent’s Canal offers an oasis of calm in the capital. It was once London’s best kept secret, but nowadays it’s filled with walkers, boaters, commuters and everyone looking to escape the busy city streets.
I lived a 3-min walk away from this exact spot for approximately 3 years and I took this picture almost every day back then, when walking or cycling to work. How I miss this little neighbourhood!
