I was born and raised in the PNW so naturally I love nature. Up here we’re surround by so many different types of landscapes it amazes me. The beaches, the desert, the mountains, the rivers, all so breathtaking in their own way.
I will try to incorporate my love for the outdoors in my work as much as possible. Some very direct ways like making a flower design, or using driftwood. And some indirect, like using 100% recycled cotton and recycled shipping products. I do my best to keep the planet in mind with everything I do 🌍
Do you keep the planet in mind everyday, or are you working towards that?
"KAMALA" a energy of prosperity!!! Goddess Lakshmi is represent wealth and fortune, is usually depicted with a lotus flower. She is usually shown sitting on a lotus flower and holding it in her hands. In Hinduism, Lotus is considered to be pure and ancient Sanskrit Hindu scriptures mention lotus KAMALA means RED LOTUS.
In this corex print, I have focused on a #LINE element to give #emphasis to the Goddess Laxmi. However, with miner details I carved the design for laxmi but using the curve lines in the background gives more important to the Goddess Laxmi. Meaning behind the RED colour to represent "LAXMI" and "KAMALA" .

✨HOW I PAINT INTUITIVELY ✨
My style of painting is very loose and free flowing. I think the more you fall in love with creating the more creating falls in love with you. This is my creative process ✨
🎨1. I seek out inspiration, so inspiration seeks out me. creativity is a relationship Invest in. I have Pinterest boards, folders, journals, playlists, filled with with whatever makes me feel a spark. .
🎨2. I invite inspiration. I clean my desk light a candle, play a song, grab a snack, do a ritual. If you want creativity to pay you visit you gotta first be a hospitable host.
🎨3. I start creating ASAP. Like 3 mins tops after having the trigger idea. It’s like catching a wave. When I wait I second guess. Drag my left brain on board. Start up my inner critic. Nah, I leave that bitch asleep. Act while it’s fresh. I’m painting to feel,
not to think.
🎨4. I assemble my painting concept like a collage. The idea starts as one fragment. Usually the trigger idea. maybe a color, the way the light looks In an image. An object, plant, Anything. I don’t try to figure it all out. I follow what feels exciting, and I chase it one idea to the next, layering. If by the end my entire composition has changed direction, no problem!
🎨5. I do that while sketching. Controversial opinion, I’m chill with tracing. I taught myself to draw through tracing. I don’t need to trace, I don’t always trace, but if it’ll make it more fun or fast, I’ll trace. Rule a thumb is don’t lean on it for everything. Notice I said trace not “COPY.” I use it as a framework to build off of. But be inventive. I reference like 10+ pictures all at once some mine some others. Some from imagination. As long as you’re not stealing and you’re not stuck I think it’s fine. Some might call it lazy, I call I not wasting time doing things I don’t like. 🤷🏻♀️
🎨6. I create different paintings for different things. If I need a deep meditative space I’ll do realism and intricate patterns. I need to loosen up? Release tension? Big abstract work. Nature scenes. I’ll drop all references. I don’t make myself paint shit I don’t want to paint. I tailor projects to my inner states and needs.

The Unalome Lotus Tattoo🌷symbolizes overcoming adversities towards perfection.
The unalome symbol represents the path to enlightenment in the Buddhist culture. The spirals symbolizes the twists and turns in life, and the straight lines the moment one reaches enlightenment or peace and harmony. The dots at the end of the symbol represent death, or the moment we fade to nothing. The Unalome is originally a Hindu symbol that graphically recalls Shiva´s third eye and it represents wisdom and the path to perfection.
Visions in BL🌸🌸M. 🌞 sneak peek... these are my current work in progress. It was time to roll up my sleeves and bring these agate lotuses to life! I’ve been dreaming them up for awhile (already made a couple for my kids bc they promptly snatched up the first ones I made -check my story to see theirs 😂) and I have many visions for them. I can’t wait to share them with you as things evolve. I am hoping to have them in more colors eventually. My agate source has been affected by everything going on, so for now I have lots of blue lotuses. Let me know what you guys think in the comments. 💙☁️🌸I just want to thank you all for being here and for all your support. You keep me making and smiling, so thank YOU! Sunday blessings, beautiful beings. 🙏🏻
