💭”You don’t drive a car looking through the rear view mirror.” 🚗🚷🙅🏻♂️
I still remember sitting there, in my first ever transformational coaching event with @briandecosta and ~100 other people all having our 🧠s blown by the one and only @chrisleemotivator (who remains one of my top role models in the personal development space). And then @chrisleemotivator dropped this golden analogy.
🤯 It made SO MUCH SENSE!
Little did Chris know, in that moment, how much impact he had made. In one second, my entire perspective on how disillusioned we become when we get stuck in thought loops about our past (what has already been) and lose touch with the present moment.
I’ve used this quote as a guide post for myself, and shared it as a powerful coaching tool with others, more times than I can even begin to count.
🤯🤯🤯 all around.
So today, my hope is that you, too, find clarity in these words. Glancing in the rear view mirror is necessary when driving for your safety; however, there is a fine line between glancing for safety and staring into your detriment. Be present; keep your eyes on the road, and rediscover your power to create your life.

Romantic love and attraction is not about...
👉🏼How you look
👉🏼Having an impressive job/career
👉🏼Having lots of money
👉🏼Being "cool" enough or knowing the "right thing" to say
These are all just flashy "bandaids" that might attract people superficially, but they won't ever sustain a great relationship or be the foundation for anything meaningful.
It Is about...
❤️ Your ability to trust others
🧡Your inner confidence
💛Your ability to trust yourself
💚Your ability to receive love
💙Your ability to forgive
💜Your ability to own up and apologize
🖤Feeling good enough
🤍Believing you can have the relationship you desire
🤎Fully engaging with the world
💖Being able to be VERY vulnerable
💝Keeping your heart open no matter how much pain you've been through
💗Feeling safe and secure in who you are, no matter how anyone else treats you
💕Honoring yourself and respecting yourself
The best part is that you have WAY more power to quickly change and transform the things about you that truly matter.
Because it all starts with you and your mindset.🧘🏽
It starts with changing how you think.
The challenge is our society didn't teach us how to think.
They didn't teach us how to navigate the challenges of love and relationships.
In fact, being gay, we've found that we've learned to think in ways that REPEL love.
To think we can't have an amazing longterm relationship...
and especially not a happy marriage.
To think we're not attractive...
To think we can't trust other gay women...
To fear growing old alone.
Regina and I are here to help you stop that type of bullshit thinking.
Whenever you're ready to step up and become a MAGNET when it comes to romantic love ❤️ #thelesbianlegacy
