"Adventure begins with a shipwreck" - Michel Serres 🛥⚓
After exploring a lot of the coast recently, I've become very fond of it. The mountains still win by a country mile but the coast isn't too far behind.

What an absolute treat it was to visit the Jura distillery last month, it was my first ever trip to the isle of Jura, and the welcome was very warming! Thank you @malted_mark for showing me around, it was much appreciated! The distillery was founded in 1810, then sadly fell into disrepair but was restored in 1884. Around 1900 it was again in disrepair and dismantled. In the 1950s the distillery rebuilt and expanded by 1963, and included the installation of taller stills, and has been going strong ever since 💪🏼 I love this history behind this distillery 🥃
As the stories I shared from the foggy Sunday morning have been received so well I decided to edit the pictures I had taken with my proper camera and use them to create a more wintery feed. So here we go with the first frosty post 🌹❄️

Sneaky little sunrise bagpipes session! 🌄
There aren’t many places I’d willing get up at 3am to play the bagpipes, but I suppose when you’ve got a selection of volcanoes and mountain Gods it makes it worth it! 🌋 #BagpipesatBromo#KiltedAdventures#EastJava
Let there be light ✨ Edinburgh Botanic Garden looks phenomenal brightening up those dark winter evenings and getting you all excited for Christmas. Can I have a fairy light tunnel in my garden please Santa? ☄🌟 .
