Lake Ruataniwha under some soft moonlight. This little spot is reliably calm even when it’s windy elsewhere, so it’s my go to spot if I need a fix of reflections. Not so bad under a sky full of stars either. 💙

Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, even if I don’t know you yet, I’ll wait for you in my dreams; I’ll wait for you just there, where that warmth in the heart is warmer than the sun, and where peace of mind will get us to the stars! ✨

Last Friday the 13th’s full moon. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While my bread and butter is family photography, I have been drawn to photography my whole life, which means I’ve loved capturing nature and landscapes well before I fell in love with capturing families. San Diego’s photography market is quite saturated and I felt I needed to curate this feed in a way that would draw in more clients seeking family photos, so I made a business decision to stop posting them. But then I realized that because the market is so saturated with highly qualified and skilled photographers, what differentiates me from another is, not only price point, but me as an individual behind the lens. And one way to show that is to show other art I’m drawn to create as well, so I’m pivoting a bit and we’ll see how it goes!
