Exposure compensation (-1) DOF ( depth of the field ) is the area which comes under focus when you focus on a subject to shoot .
When you focus on your subject , there is an area in front and in the back of the subject in focus , beyond which the field becomes blurred out .
This area which comes under focus is called DOF
DOF depends on
1. Distance of the subject from the camera
3. Focal length used
