Casual Friday’s in an office call for jeans and sneakers!
Make your casual clothes easy to find with an organised wardrobe! @trendingfashion4112
#️⃣ JUNE // #hashtagcompilation // Wow it’s been an epic battle condensing all this info into just 10 slides today. I swear this compilation is getting out of control!! I hope that you find it all useful, and as ever I always appreciate your shares as it’s taking me longer and longer to compile this every month 🙌🏼
🏡 If you want some inspo to keep yourself entertained while staying home, check out the ‘lockdown special’ section. 🆕 As usual, all new additions are flagged as such, so please do lend them your support as running a hashie is HARD WORK!
The list fills up quicker than paparazzi gathering on the pavement outside Dominic Cummings’ house, so don’t forget that I will always prioritise actively managed tags – as usual I have removed those that have not been operating within the spirit of the rules, but if you think yours has been wrongly self-isolated then please let me know so I can reinstate it next month!
As ever, if you want your hashie included please DM me with the details so I can get it added to the eternally-expanding list. Happy tagging y’all 💁🏼♀️
One of the most common misconceptions people have said about decluttering their wardrobes are: “its too overwhelming”. Listen when I say I get it because organizing is a challenge. I can walk into a cluttered room, visualize it tidy, create a system to declutter it, then teach that system to others. I acknowledge that this is a unique gift most people don't have.
But also receive it when I call that a misconception because when you think back and add all the mornings you spent frazzled before the peak of your day, or those times you wore that blouse you hate avoiding the clutter in your closet you’d also find little seeds of stress and anxiety germinating and waiting to ruin your productivity🙅🏽♀️🚫💆🏽♀️.
#OrganizeForLove is here to simplify, inspire, and guide you to make it less overwhelming. Think about how much peace you’re missing out on, and how much more ease, flow, and balance you can add to your life with a steady flow of guided structure in those instances!!
It’s easy to brush it all aside but truth is you NEED your peace of mind in order to sustain yourself throughout this marathon 🏃🏽♀️. You NEED balance to manage the range of emotions you experience on a daily 💆🏽♀️. You NEED ease of mind, spirit, and body to go out in the world and do the necessary work that you do, and Organize for Love is here to help see you all the way through ✊🏽🧘🏽♀️✨.
Lastly, not decluttering your wardrobe because its too overwhelming because I have systems to help you work through it. This all said, tomorrow I’m sharing a special and limited opportunity with a clear route through those obstacles on on how to start‼️
I ordered extra insert for the cushions on our bed, makes them look soooo good!! Swipe to see the before! Anyone else currently obsessed with plumping up their cushions!? 😂

All those little keepsakes that are gathered on adventures can be stored easily, and oh so stylishly, in our Fargo Bookcase (shown here in Ivory White). Little boxes and notebooks full of memories just cry out to be kept safely off the floor 😍

2 storeys have definitely taken over the market these past couple years as we have seen fewer bungalow plans being built. There are pros to each layout style - some people love how everything is located on one floor in a bungalow while others prefer the separation between entertaining and sleeping space in a 2 storey. There really is no right or wrong, totally personal preference! Do you have a favourite style of home?

To paint or not to paint... this beautiful hutch was passed down to me from my grandpa, but over the years it has faded and is in desperate need of some TLC. I have this strong desire to paint it black like the inspiration photo. What do you guys think?? Should I paint it or will I regret it?

This is the sort of homeschooling I love: my six-year-old lost in a book. The book he is reading in the picture is called Charlie Changes Into A Chicken which is a very silly, very funny book with, I believe, lots of reference to farts (and why not, because especially when you are six, that sort of thing is brilliant). It’s kept him reading for an hour at a time.
What I like about so many of the contemporary kids’ chapter books my son reads is that so many show classrooms like his classroom: mixed kids, black kids, brown kids, white kids; strong, smart, funny kids. In this book, Charlie’s best friends are Mohsen, a little brown boy, and Flora, a little black girl. Mohsen is kind and has a PS4; Flora is braver than the boys. They feel real, not tokenistic.
We recently got sent some Planet Omar books for Eid and they look *hil-a-ri-ous* as my son says, and I can’t wait - it’s exciting for me too, because I never ever had books like this growing up!
Though there is so much to be done to open doors in publishing, especially for grown up, the kids side of things gives me more hope. Even though the world feels broken, my son’s world features books full of friends of all colours and races (and religions) who stick together. And it’s like that at school too. Maybe it sounds naive, and I know there’s so much work to be done, but this sort of thing gives me hope. Finding him like this with a book literally stuck to his face made me very happy today.

Sistherhood print by @mkoby_ moves me so much. As an artist I’ve always felt that art can connect, educate, heal and bring people together; we need that now more than ever. Let’s support (and continue to) our small black female owned businesses! .
I’ve always loved shopping small and supporting artists and makers. Some of these ladies I’ve followed before and some are new to me!! Please give them a follow and let me know what your favorites are. From farmhouse decor to modern ceramics, to art illustrations and beautiful candles. Tagging them all on their shop photo. We’re stronger together. 🖤🤎🤍 #amplifymelanatedvoices

Celebrate dad with customized, beautiful hangers. Father’s Day is June 21! #allhunguphanger
I use this feed as a way to share my passion, share beautiful things, beautiful spaces, and inspire people to live beautifully and with intention. However, things haven't been beautiful lately; and we can't continue being silent about the reality of our surroundings. Therefore, while we will continue to share images that evoke beauty, we can't forget that change will happen only with sustainable effort. We have one job to do on this earth, and that is to be good human beings. So behind the scenes, we must continue to do our part by supporting those in need, donating, staying informed, teaching our children, leading by example, encouraging positivity, and raising our voices collectively against racism and injustice. .
We may all be part of different communities, but we are all part of the human race. So as a design community, let's continue to create, to inspire, to impact people's lives for good, but let's also take the time to find ways in which our skills can help our communities in need.

All I can think about is sitting in this room as sitting in this chair. I am in love with the shapes and texture in this room.
Our little wiggle bean is happy to be still cooking these days 🥰 We’re 40 weeks and 4 days now, woo! I’ve had practice contractions for the last week, mostly at night time, but apparently they need to start ramping up. So, I was told to break out the walking shoes and exercise ball routine, so that’s what we’ll be doing 🥰🏃♀️💪🏻 We would appreciate prayers that my body will continue to progress on its own, and that the timing will be just right for our dear boy to enter the world! ♥️
Let the calmness of the morning wrap around your spirit and hold you in it's embrace today.

Happy almost Friday!!!! 🥳 I am knee deep in our outdoor dining table tutorial and hope to have it on the blog in the morning 🤞 On another note, I rarely share our kitchen here but it’s not because I don't love it, because I do, it’s just rarely clean! 😂 In fact, as I snapped this picture I was careful not to get the kitchen table in the shot because it is overfloawing with all the stuff we ordered for the pool 🏖 And now that we are home so much I feel like I am continuously running our dishwasher 🙈 Everytime I turn around its full again 🙄 Speaking of, I shared a picture in my stories the other day of my mastery in dishwasher tetris🏆 and a friend of mine commented on our third rack. PSA, if you don’t already know about the third rack, it is GAME CHANGING! 🙌 Thank you @kitchenaidusa for making my life easier! 💯 Now can you please teach my husband how to load it the right way?! 🙏
Let's talk color p s y c h o l o g y 💭
Being in tune with how a buyer will feel when they enter a home is extremely important. A house might have stellar bones, but if the style or colors are unappealing, it can leave a negative impression.
We are passionate about embellishing a room with neutral furniture and decor. Various shades of brown and tan instill a sense of comfort and trust while blacks and greys provide an air of sophistication (such a splendid blend of sensations!) ✨

One of my best friends had her baby today and i can’t stop thinking about him and i wanna smell him and baby wear him and hold his tiny fingers and i can’t and I’m sad. So here’s a picture of my couch.
Changing it up a bit...this is my partner, my best friend, my loudest cheerleader and we are raising 3 beautiful children. He is a provider, protector, and nurturer. I never worry about the well being of my kids because of this man. Yet, based on past experiences, some too painful to recount, I know the world doesn’t see him this way. This issue transcends our socio-economic status and education. It deeply hurts.
We are raising a caring and thoughtful black boy who, at some point, will also be seen as a threat. We have had “the talk” and continue to do so. It’s extremely difficult explaining to a little boy that he cannot do some of the things his friends do. We have stripped his innocence to provide him with the tools to survive in a world that isn’t kind to brown boys like him.
Across black communities, this is personal. We hold similar, yet personal stories of what it means to strive for our humanity each day. All we ask is to be treated as equals and with equity.
