To me, traveling is not about the top 10 sights of a city, but much more about learning something about local culture, history & adventures. 🙌 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Plus, as a photographer, I‘m always searching for the perfect shot. 🤓 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Sunday scaries Morocco edition. 👀 With all this downtime I’ve uncovered a lot. Not just content from the archives, a lot about me 🙃
Bringing it back to focus on the seemingly “mundane” or slow paced activities has been huge - like me posing but really enjoying that super delish non alcoholic mojito last year. ✨ I say all this as a New Yorker who, in addition to this brand/blog works full time in a global role also is NON-STOP...whether it’s a yoga class, fun event, work event, or drinks with friends. 🏃♀️
In short, I’m rarely home alone. Like, one night a week rare. So this new world has been pretty loco to navigate, but a blessing in a way too. One of my intentions this year was: Get better at being alone 🤣 so YEAH - you could say I got my wish. ⠀⠀
That’s why I’m going to share one of the things that’s kept me balanced and positive through all this, kicking off this Thursday, April 9th. 🙌🏻 A 21 Day Meditation Challenge you can join me for. FOR FREE. 🙌🏻
And I really hope you do, because the more positive energy we collectively manifest the better we all will be . This particular format of meditation is not too much of a commitment time wise, & I swear you start to notice how the world around you reacts by generating abundance. It’s pretty cool to observe! I’m talking about things like: -
✨hearing from a friend who suddenly calls you if they’ve been on your mind ✨finding a quick $40 in your back pocket ✨ being asked to contribute your expertise on something that matters to you✨ even getting a new job ✨ the feeling that the universe has got your back and is on your side ✨
💕 so sign up for this free mindful resource via the blue box on my site, link in bio 💕 .
Staying still and in one place for so long is not easy for a nomad soul. The desire to feel human contact, to discover new things, people and places has been the inspiration for most of my life.
But today I have a choice to not think about myself and do what’s right for all of us. We can’t just complaint, we need to act. We need to think as a community, something we no longer know how to do. Perhaps this is what we are truly needing to learn and what this pandemic is trying to teach us. But many continue to not listen. The longer we resist, the longer this will last. For once, think about the world and the power of protecting each other even we don’t know each other.
I see so many people post pics of themselves outside and it makes me sad for this is a moment to be an example to others. STAY HOME. Can’t you understand that this moment is about being true citizens of the world. Of showing that if we all do what is right, all of us can be outside again. This is not a moment to show privileges. This is a moment to be an example and show that we are all making sacrifices to protect each other. There will be time for us all to go back to our normal life. But let’s show that we can also show love for our human race #firstname.lastname@example.org
