SElF RESPECT AND EGO
There's a thin line between two and understanding the difference between them can be a bit tricky.
Self respect comes from self worth and ego is only influence by pride.
Taking an example of PAWN:
If the pawn reaches the opposite side of the cheeseboard, it has the unique ability to promote another chess piece. The pawn can become a queen, bishop, rook or knight but only if it works hard and reaches the other end of the board ..
That's the difference between self respect and ego
Self respect is comprised of hard work and self worth while ego is just superiority and pride with the lack of achievement of any defined goal.
One has self respect because u r comprised of all the hardships you have suffered and then reached to a proper higher designation but just from the start of the chess if u think that u can transform urself to any other thing and ur actions are overpowered by fake pride of urs then that's ego.
Try to understand the fine difference between the two.

It is important to pursue exactly what you believe is good for you. Pay attention to your feelings and intuition, rather than your thoughts, as your thoughts can sometimes become overwhelming, leading you to stop chasing what you actually want out of fear of failure, rejection and so on. We all know what we are meant to do in our lives and what our purpose is and what makes us truly happy. We think about what our life could be if we would be a different or improved version of ourselves. But we sometimes ignore our feelings and make up our minds based on what society is asking from us, what other people think and say, based on our own not constructive thoughts, so we keep ignoring our feelings and avoiding and delaying what we actually want to do. Pay attention to what you deeply feel is right for you and start putting all your focus and time in that direction. Doesn’t matter if others agree with you or not. If you know it will do you good and you’ll feel much more aligned with what your purpose is, pursue it. Don’t take a moment to think about it. We all know what makes us truly deeply happy. But we are sabotaging acting on it because of our thought process that can sometimes come up with arguments and hold us back. Never hold anything back. It is better to take a risk and make a mistake and learn from it, than to think about what could have been if you’d actually do it and ultimately regret not doing it. Keep your soul in harmony. And be attentive to what your intuition leads you towards. .
Would you be open to receiving more from the universe not by changing WHO you are but just the way you start to look at things? If there was a way to solve that heavy feeling, from a relationship, your job, or just knowing you can be MORE would you be open to it? I was so closed, and learned that through opening up to different possibilities kept giving me amazing things like new connections, gifts, and a huge feeling of belonging and being loved. Once you change your perception. WOW. The world changes to match that new filter and color. It was so HARD. Having to fight back. It brought so many tears to my eyes. My heart would just feel pushed to the side, even with people who are hard to get along with. Yes, we all know those people who give orders or are really snappy. The people who you wish would understand you. I persisted with my new view. Even though it made me feel not good enough. Now WOW. I have made friends and have built trust with those who were not my friends or would not want me around. It’s not bc I care, it’s because I’m building. I’m building my foundation. My connections and how they impact me and others. I don’t know how I’ve gained “control” over letting it go. Letting it go, and when it’s hard, I tell myself hey. It’s part of the shift. There isn’t been a person or situation in my life it hasn’t worked. Even with my family, it’s less fear and cold and way more people have taken more time to give to me. I felt like I’ve received so much love through this. I don’t feel like I expect it. But it has completely shocked me. At how talking yourself through hard times, and shifting your view can give you SO MUCH! The world is shifting to meet my new view. Happy tears for 2019, I can’t tell you if I cried over sadness this year bc it would be hard to find that time. It’s hard work guys. But LOVE is worth it. ♥️ I have been finding more people who know how much of a gift this is. #love#changing#perspective#bestlife#discovery#new#coach#coaching#hard#intuition#meaning#purpose#changeyourview#malikyoba#xchange#leadership#leader#shapeyourlife#beautiful

It's time to become the hardest working person you know.
A kingdom isn't built in a day and your dreams don't come true by wishing on a star💫
I didn't magically buy a home out of thin air. I don't fly around the world on anyone else's dollar but my own. It doesn't take money to make money it takes
It takes PASSION people. Real, raw, sometimes crazy, PASSION.
If people start calling me crazy, I'll know I'm doing something right.
If people start hatin, it means I'm doing what they're too afraid to do.
What are you building in 2020?✍
"A man can be destroyed but not defeated" - Ernest Hemingway.
Alfred Tennyson, 1st Baron Tennyson (1809 – 1892) was a British poet.
He was the Poet Laureate of Great Britain and Ireland during much of Queen Victoria's reign and remains one of the most popular British poets.
In 1829, Tennyson was awarded the Chancellor's Gold Medal at Cambridge for one of his first pieces, "Timbuktu." He published his first solo collection of poems, "Poems Chiefly Lyrical" in 1830.
Although decried by some critics as overly sentimental, his verse soon proved popular and brought Tennyson to the attention of well-known writers of the day.
Prince Albert was largely responsible for Tennyson's appointment as Laureate, but Queen Victoria became an ardent admirer of Tennyson's work; writing in her diary that she was "much soothed & pleased" by reading "In Memoriam A.H.H." after Albert's death.
The two met twice, first in April 1862, when Victoria wrote in her diary, "very peculiar looking, tall, dark, with a fine head, long black flowing hair & a beard, oddly dressed, but there is no affectation about him." Tennyson met her a second time just over two decades later, on 7 August 1883, and the Queen told him then what a comfort "In Memoriam A.H.H." had been.
A number of phrases from Tennyson's work have become commonplaces of the English language, including:
"'Tis better to have loved and lost / Than never to have loved at all", "Theirs not to reason why, / Theirs but to do and die", "My strength is as the strength of ten, / Because my heart is pure", "To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield", "Knowledge comes, but Wisdom lingers", and "The old order changeth, yielding place to new". Tennyson is the ninth most frequently quoted writer in The Oxford Dictionary of Quotations.

Charles Bukowski - Factotum. “If you're going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don't even start. This could mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives and maybe even your mind. It could mean not eating for three or four days. It could mean freezing on a park bench. It could mean jail. It could mean derision. It could mean mockery--isolation. Isolation is the gift. All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it. And, you'll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine. If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is.”
If we listen and listen intently, even to people we normally wouldn't take seriously; We might realize the immense human wisdom that lies in the most unlikely of individuals.
Vincent Willem van Gogh (1853 – 1890) was a Dutch post-impressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art.
In just over a decade he created about 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings, most of which date from the last two years of his life.
They include landscapes, still lifes, portraits and self-portraits, and are characterised by bold colours and dramatic, impulsive and expressive brushwork that contributed to the foundations of modern art.
Yet he was never commercially successful, nor respected for most of his life.
Born into an upper-middle-class family, Van Gogh drew as a child and was serious, quiet and thoughtful.
As an adult, Van Gogh suffered from psychotic episodes and delusions and though he worried about his mental stability, he often neglected his physical health, did not eat properly and drank heavily.
He spent time in psychiatric hospitals, including a period at Saint-Rémy.
After he discharged himself and moved to the Auberge Ravoux in Auvers-sur-Oise near Paris, he came under the care of the homeopathic doctor Paul Gachet.
His depression continued and on 27 July 1890, Van Gogh shot himself in the chest with a Lefaucheux revolver.
He died from his injuries two days later.
Only few people have understood the purpose of their lives on the earth. Many people never try to understand why they live, do not reason to know the propose of their lives. They live like passing days, like shadow, like withering flower, like water bubbles, like quenching sparks of fire, like a leaf fall off. Dear reader, if I ask you the same question, I believe you can't answer. But whoever you may be, I hope you find peace and acceptance with yourself. ❤️
