#medirtlephotography - To be a photographer (pro or not) , it takes more than just pushing the shutter release button, more than just having the ability to set the aperture, focal length, ISO and shutterspeed. It also requires your ability to tell jokes and communicate! To make the model(s) smile or laugh naturally, most of the time the photographer should tell something funny while giving direction where to look at, etc. Meaning, to be a photographer, you need to be communicative and able to bring the best out of the model, especially if the models are the shy ones and already claim beforehand “I cannot pose”. You also need to be creative in imagining different kind of pose in your head during the photoshoot :”lift your right arm, look at the camera, look to the left, etc” are the most common instructions 😜😜 . So it takes more than just the ability to understand the camera itself, the ability to understand different kind of characters of the models and the personality of the photographer itself are the other important things in photography... #photoshoot#photography#portraitphotography#autumnphotoshoot#fujifilmxt20#fujifilm
“In the middle of this ocean, one lonely whale cries. No matter how much it shouts, no one can hear it. So lonely it just stays quiet.” (Whale 52 - BTS)
The 52- Hertz whale was first heard in 1989 by a team of scientists, the whale has been identified as single, solitary whale. He is the epitome of loneliness on this planet.
The final message that BTS wants to deliver through this song is to be the best “whale” you can be, and do your own thing even if it means being alone, that each and every person has their own life that is unlike that of anyone else in the world.

“It’s all about the lyrics and the message that they are trying to deliver” , this is my default answer EVERYTIME people ask me, why am I so into BTS. It’s not because of their cute faces, amazing dance moves, colorful outfits and music videos that have made me proactively voice myself as a BTS army (=fandom name of BTS), but the words that they choose in each song, the story behind the songs that I really want to share to people. The songs are not about spending money, going to a club, drinking alcohol, shaking your a**, like what I heard in sooo many songs these days. I almost gave up with the (mainstream) music industry in recent generation, they are pointless, sexually oriented, basically most of them are meaningless.
And then I found BTS..
After experiencing what so-called as ticket-war, I was able to go to their Love Yourself & Speak Yourself concert in Hong Kong and Paris. Through their music and latest albums (Love Yourself & Persona), quoting from bts.bighit.com —> “BTS Love Yourself series creates a narrative by linking the key songs in each album into a single theme, imparting the message that loving yourself is true love, that love oneself is where true love begins.” End quote. We experienced heartbroken, separation, joy of loving someone, but by the end of the day, loving ourselves is the key to be able to love others and it will help us through the pain of heartbroken and separation. We should be the one who comfort ouselves and save ourselves.
After love yourself, it’s time to speak yourself, dont be afraid to show who you really are to others, no masks, voice your opinion. Out Loud.
In Persona album, quoting from the official website bighit, “BTS talks about the joy in finding love, and reaches out to the world with the messages they want to share with their fans. The band is especially curious about the stories of each and everyone who have helped them become who they are today”. Love Yourself.Speak Yourself. #email@example.com
“I hear the far-away ocean. Across the dream, over the horizon. I’m going to the place that’s getting clearer. Take my hands now. You are the cause of my euphoria.” (Euphoria - BTS)
There are so many interpretations of this song, but most of these interpretations are dark. As usual. But the common one is saying that euphoria symbolize joy that cannot last forever, the music video itself shows a very reminiscent of BTS’ old videos that relate things like youth, hardships, friendship, love, loss and mental health.
“Maybe it’s cherry blossoms. And this winter will be over. I miss you. I miss you. Wait a little bit, just a few more nights. I’ll be there to see you. I’ll go there to meet you. I’ll come for you.” (Spring Day - BTS)
My most fav. song from BTS. There are rumors saying that the music video was inspired by the Sewol Ferry tragedy which took 304 lives , mostly students. Based on this rumor, where in my opinion it makes so much sense with the lyrics and the hints that they give in the music video, the song takes the point of view of the family and friends who are left behind in the world, they voice their sadness and their longing caused by the death of their loved ones. BTS themselves never confirm this rumor. However, it is definitely a song about farewell, it doesnt have to be a farewell to a specific person, it is also believed that this is where the group bids goodbye to their youth in a beautiful way.
“Following a frigid winter of teen angst and uncertainty, spring comes as new beginning. The landscape begins to fill new life, and new stories begin” (as depicted in the music video). Source : seoulbeats.com
“Maybe I can never fly. I can not fly like the flower petals in the air. Or as if I had wings. Maybe I can never touch the sky. I still want to reach out I want to run. Just a little more.” (Awake - BTS)
This is actually a sad song, the song is about how one is suffering for not being able to reach the ultimate goal as expected by others. However, one is still trying hard to move on and to become better even though he knows he wont be able to reach the goal. One is keep telling himself to stay awake, keep on trying and not to cry.
“7 billion lives, the city’s night view is possibly another city’s night. Our own dreams, let us shine. You shine brighter than anyone else. One.” (Mikrokosmos - BTS)

“BTS is trying to reitirate their message that each individual comes with their own stories and must be respected for that. Individuation also helps people realize their potential and break away from society’s projection of its impression and insecurities. This track seems also to pay condolence to the lives lost, now visible as stars, that could not be saved from societal pressure.” Additional note : BTS said that when they wrote this song, they are inspired by the city lights created by the skyscrappers which is really pretty. But each individual light represents a story of someone, probably a hardworking person who works until late at night, and without him/her realizing that they give happiness (thru’ lights) to other people.
Occassionally I need some free time. Frankly I don’t feel bad about it. Some people might say, „take your free time when your children are already on their own feet. Then you’ll have so much time for yourself, you won’t know what to do.“ But no… I don’t want to wait until my child is an adult. I need to take my “me-time“ now. Because I need to recharge my battery. Because I need to be on my own. Be myself. As a human. As a woman.
This is not a justification. I don’t need your permissions nor your confirmations.
I’ve got that covered.. from the relevant people.
And so yes! I was on a short trip with my ladies.
The first minutes always seem awkward. I feel „naked“ and a bit of lost without the buggy and the bags filled with baby’s necessities.
But even this moment I will enjoy. I let it be. Because my baby is a part of me. Wherever I am and whatever I do.
Soon baby, I’ll be home again. Re-energized. Ready to sing your songs for the millionth of time, to read you your books over and over again..and to finish the puzzles you always start but never finish :) 📸 @medirtle
Berulang-ulang saya tanya diri sendiri.. Apa prioritas nomer satumu sejak kembali bekerja?
Memang setelah anak lahir, saya bekerja part-time.
Kenyataannya.. anak saya sering sekali sakit sejak musim dingin datang. Apalagi karena dia mengunjungi nursery setiap hari. Setiap sakit, saya otomatis menggugurkan semua acara pekerjaan.
#momsdiary#mondaysreflection#thoughts
So we went to the restaurant where BTS came EVERYDAY during their pre-debut/trainee days. For those of you who is not aware how KPOP idols are chosen in South Korea, just imagine how a management trainee program in a corporate works, but instead of a corporate, it’s an agency, instead of a future employee, they’re future artists (idol, in this case). The traineeship can take years, it’s different based on the agency and the (future) idol group itself. It can take 3,4,5 or (probably) more years until the group is publicly announced (debut) by performing first time on stage on tv. Before they become a trainee, they were an intern. So, that is the loooong process to become an idol.
During the traineeship, the group has to work hard by practicing (dancing, singing) over and over and over again, for BTS, it took (or probably ‘takes’) 15 hours a day. Remember, this is a traineeship, they can be kicked out by the agency at anytime. So! close to their practice studio, they always came to the restaurant which is located on the upper floor of their studio in the basement.
So we visited the restaurant, and as the last two customers, we had a chance to take pictures with the owners who took care of BTS years ago during their traineeship. The two ladies fed them and even provided a customized menu so the boys can eat fast, as they only had a limited time to have a proper meal as they need to go back to practice (now that “special customized” menu are officially put in the menu, and marked as “bts fav. food”). Sadly, due to the BTS’ nowadays fame and too many fans (BTS fandom is called Army) coming to that place, BTS never visit and eat there again. I was told that they do take-away now (by their manager) whenever they miss the aunties’ cook.
We got lots of stories from the owner about the old days with the boys and how the interaction between the ladies and each member or BTS that is similar like mother-son relationship. Imo saranghae!!! 😍😍. Ps : yes, the conversation is in Korean. Luckily, my friend @natalya_yaya can speak korean. #bangtansonyeondan#bts#seoul#southkorea#iseoulyou
“They’re pretty boys who look like girls.” This is the most common comment that I frequently receive from people who knows that I am a huge fan of the seven men from South Korea known as BTS. I got to the point where I stop defending myself (and the men), and just accept the fact that: yes, their make up is (sometimes) like girls (after seeing them in person and watched lots of their videos, most of the thick make-ups used for photoshoot), and yes they’re a K-Pop idol group. As someone who was far away from Kpop and once said that Kpop is not my thing, I’m also surprised with the fact that I cannot stop listening to their songs. Their songs are really poetic yet simple, whether it’s a song for their haters, about life in general or about heart-aches. The fact that the gentlemen are heavily involved in creating the lyrics and composing their own songs, make them significantly stand-out compared to the other idol-groups that I know. For me, their songs are really personal, lots of my bad and good experiences in life are well expressed and told through their lyrics. Their songs are really personal to me, the group itself is personal to me. As an individual, they’re personal to me. There’s a good reason why UN chose them to speak-up through their speech in UN about loving yourself and appreciate yourself (before others). On top of that, the men are so humble, hardworker and crazily talented - and the fact that they have received so much hates and threats (sometimes even death-threats!!), and roast their haters in a classy way through their songs, it is amazing! For me, they’re MY “The Beatles” . Yes, their photoshoots’ make-up is similar with girls’ make up. Yes, they’re a KPOP band. Yes, most of their fans are teenagers. Who cares? they’re freakin’ awesome!! Haters gon’ hate, players gon’ play. Mic drop. #bts#bangtansonyeondan#loveyourself#bighit#btsinhongkong#btsloveyourself#btsloveyourselfinhongkong#medirtlephotography#asiaworldexpo#btsbighit
