Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have. Make the now the primary focus of your life. - Eckhart Tolle
Let' me add context to what I said about healthcare workers NOT being on the front lines of this Covid situation.
Firstly, only a fool would actually believe I, in any way, was implying their roles were not important to the fight.
However, their roles are NOT on the front lins of this. The front line isn't where everyone FINALLY starts to catch on to the fact we're in battle. If you're infected that means the actual front lines were breeched. It means you're now relying on support to handle the damage.
The danger with your way of thinking, is that you can't actually fortify a defense structure if everyone is calling the rear the front. It's as simple as that. The same way we weren't prepared in the first place despite the threat existing was partly because everyone wanted to fucking focus on nukes and shit like this was the damn 80s or something. Bio/chemical defense just seemed ridiculous and we who urged for focus on that, was told we needed to stop watching so many movies.
Leave your emotions out of this. Pay attention. The front line is weak because you're not even aware of its location to be able to fortify it.
It's important for you to get your heads out of your asses because now, no matter what, EVERYONE can see the exact results they'd achieve with a more directly addressed attack. Your weaknesses have been exposed. Your ignorance will become weaponized.

SUSTAIN YOUR VIBE.
Yes, it’s important to meditate, write in your gratitude journal, and exercise to feel your best.
But the real #heartledleaders know it’s all about sustaining that energy.
How long does that feel good mood last? Is it only for a hour post workout, only for those 20 minutes in a meditation, or only while writing a gratitude list?
Whenever it drops off...

💫 AHORA YA ESTÁS [email protected] PARA COMENZAR LA MEDITACIÓN DE TU PREFERENCIA 💫
There was a period of time in India where Yoga was legally banned. It is with great privilege that we are able to teach today; and with that comes great responsibility to pass on these teachings with integrity, and honor the roots of where they come from. .
Much gratitude to everyone who participated in the livestream class. Thank-you for donating, if you were able to at this time. Please know that a portion of those funds support my family and I, and the rest is donated to the ashram where I study in North India. To support the teachers who have sacrificed their lives to keep these practices and teachings alive.
I have been trained in a traditional approach where Yoga is intended to prepare the body
as a fit vessel for higher states of meditative awareness. Through this higher consciousness we are able to experience the highest truths, to understand and live oneness of mind, body, and soul. To humbly be in service and uplift each other through loving-kindness. To rest in unselfish love, joy, truth and freedom. .
Thankyou for giving us teachers the opportunity to teach.
Sri Swami Premananda Maharaj Ki Jai!

It is because we have this present body with human faculties that we are able to enjoy all the pleasures and opportunities of human life.
Even simple pleasures such as going for a walk or watching a beautiful sunset can be seen to be a result of the kindness of innumerable living beings.
Our skills and abilities all come from the kindness of others: we had to be taught how to eat, how to walk, how to talk, and how to read and write.
Even the language we speak is not our own invention but the product of many generations.
Without it we could not communicate with others or share their ideas.
We could not read this book, learn Dharma or even think clearly.
All the facilities we take for granted, such as houses, cars, roads, shops, schools, hospitals and cinemas, are produced solely through others’ kindness.
When we travel by bus or car we take the roads for granted, but many people worked very hard to build them and make them safe for us to use.
The fact that some of the people who help us may have no intention of doing so is irrelevant.
We receive benefit from their actions, so from our point of view this is a kindness.
Rather than focusing on their motivation, which in any case we do not know, we should focus on the practical benefit we receive.
Everyone who contributes in any way towards our happiness and well-being is deserving of our gratitude and respect.
If we had to give back everything that others have given us, we would have nothing left at all.

Yesterday was the first time that I truly had no guilt about putting myself first. I’ve put myself first before. But there was always a lingering feeling of guilt. I would try to convince myself that I didn’t care about opinions. I would try to convince myself that I didn’t mind disappointing as long as I’m happy. But in order for me to really live up to what my brand is all about, I need to be REALLY real with myself.... I’m becoming a new woman. Throughout it all, there will always be love. Because I’m doing what’s best for me, unapologetically. It’s going to be a difficult process. There will be a lot of pain involved but at the same time, a lot of relief and healing. So, in the end, it’s worth it. Happiness over everything.
I hope you enjoyed all parts to this poem. Part one and two are on my page. This piece has a lot of ups and downs. Because that’s what real life is. It’s imperfect...it’s chaotic...sometimes calm...sometimes triggering...and sometimes peaceful. But you know what, I wouldn’t trade these experiences for the world. Because in the end, it all made me who I am. And God is a fantastic designer and strategist. That master plan is becoming more clear to me. I’m humbled and grateful for all that life brings. Above all else, I’m honored to be a kingdom kid.
Thank you God for the creativity. And let it touch some hearts out there. Real changes, real testimonies, real connection. That’s what this is all about.
Peace and love ❤️ #NaturalRawBeauty

My worldview right now. 🤷🏼♀️
For the first time in my life, everyone I know (indeed, I think it’s safe to say everyone in the world) has been affected in some way by the current global pandemic.
☑️working from home
☑️kids home 24/7, suddenly homeschooling
☑️ one million other things, big, small, and in between.
𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗮 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗺𝗮.
At the very least, it is extremely stressful.
So how are YOU doing?
Its so easy to compare others experiences.
Some are “what the f***?!?!?!?” with this experience and some are “where’s the fun?” Some it just depends on when you ask.
There is room for both (and everything in between).
𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗺𝗮, 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴
Mindful Monday has become even more important.
When I started my blog, I dedicated Mondays to mindfulness because through my own journey with traumatic brain injury, I suffered countless losses from circumstances outside of my control. Mindfulness helped me to stay in the moment, to decrease stress, and ultimately learn how to cope healthfully with stressors.
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.
Today on the blog, I’m sharing a mindful breath exercise with you. It’s only three minutes long + will help you come back to the present moment—out of fear, anxiety, stress. It’s a powerful tool to utilize daily.
Hit the link in my bio to be guided through the mindfulness exercise.
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: what’s your attitude today? I’m a WTF for sure right now.

#Take -care Tuesday
It's a common phrase isn't it - "Take-care!" but what does it really mean? Have a think about what it means to you personally. If it relates to only taking care of your children and others then your relationship with this word may need some adjustment. Take-care also relates to taking care of yourself. What will you do today to take-care of yourself? Don't wait till you feel exhausted or fed up to find some moments to take care of yourself, build them into each day.
The 2 things I love to do each day are;
1. I turn my kitchen into a relaxation den each afternoon while I get dinner ready. I burn incense and put on relaxation music from YouTube and I float away while tidying the kitchen and preparing dinner.
2. As soon as I get the kids in bed, I hit my relaxation island - my yoga mat. I put on relaxing music and stretch, meditate and count my blessings for the day that was.
With no pamper days or holidays to for a while, simple hacks at home could make all the difference to your wellbeing during this time. They don't take up a lot of space and you can enjoy them everyday. #hacks#wellbeing#takecare#selfcare#relaxationmusic#zenden#yogaisland#meditate#stayhome

I Love candle magick!! These have been sitting in my car for over a month! (Something tells me I should clean out my car) We have another Super Moon tomorrow called the Pink Moon. I’m going to cleanse these babies and set my intentions. Tomorrow they will be grounded in the earth to bask in the moonlight. Super geeked!!!! .
Today for Motivate Monday, we decided to hopefully create some 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 and share some ideas to what we are doing to stay 𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐞 during this tough time!
For a lot of us, carnival is a time to free up and relieve stresss! So what are 𝐲𝐨𝐮 doing to to relieve stress?! What you share might help 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 else! ✨❤️
Stay safe fellow Soca Lovers!
We often say, "why doesn't God or universe talk to me?" Maybe we need to learn the language, clear distractions and listen...really listen. Could be a voice, a random butterfly, a bloom, a situation, a feeling. God/universe is talking to us everyday, we must expand HOW we listen and receive the message.
Raise your hand if prior to quarantine you were doing a really good job with.... everything + the last ~month feels like you’ve taken 15 steps backwards 🙋🏻♀️ before quarantine I was doing a great job taking care of my body and mind. I was meditating every single day. I’m being kind to myself, though, because we are going through a fucking pandemic. It’s okay that my routines shifted + I fell off course. I am coming back around to consistent meditation, though, because I was progressing a lot with it! In my hand are my moonstones which is one of my favorite stones. I feel as though moonstone is a fitting stone for this period of time in my life.
Moonstone is a stone of reflection. It aids in a lot of various ways but my main focus at this point is the reflection, new beginnings, inner growth, + soothing of emotional instability and stress. It’s overall a very practical stone. If you are new to meditation + crystals I highly recommend the YouTube account pictured in photo #2 ! She first posts a video explaining the gemstone and a second going through a guided meditation. I feel like it’s a really great starting point and helps with visualization and working through your goals and affirmations! Beyond crystal-based meditation, I sleep with various stones (I can get into that in a separate post) + often put them in my bra based on what I feel I “need”. I often journal. A LOT. Before + after each meditation to help me work through my emotions and thoughts that different stones and circumstances bring up. If anyone ever has questions my messages are always open! I’ve been learning for a short while now and have a lot of resources slowly building up!
Can't go outside? Go inside... •
I had to disconnect to connect. The quieter you become, the more you can hear.

#email@example.com 🕯🗨 "It isn't by getting out of the world that we become enlightened, but by getting into the world…by getting so tuned in that we can ride the waves of our existence & never get tossed because we become the waves." - Ken Kesey, "Kesey's Garage Sale".
🗨 "I'm simply saying that there is a way to be sane. I'm saying that you can get rid of all this insanity created by the past in you. Just by being a simple witness of your thought processes. It is simply sitting silently, witnessing the thoughts, passing before you. Just witnessing, not interfering not even judging, because the moment you judge you have lost the pure witness. The moment you say “this is good, this is bad,” you have already jumped onto the thought process. It takes a little time to create a gap between the witness & the mind. Once the gap is there, you are in for a great surprise, that you are not the mind, that you are the witness, a watcher. And this process of watching is the very alchemy of real religion. Because as you become more & more deeply rooted in witnessing, thoughts start disappearing. You are, but the mind is utterly empty. That’s the moment of enlightenment. That is the moment that you become for the first time an unconditioned, sane, really free human being." - Osho. #QOTD#EnLIGHTenment#InnerWork#OM 🕉 #ALLIsMental#MINDYourMind#MindPower#DEATH#ProverbsCh18v21#DEATHIsAPartOfLIFE#covi ̇d_19 #covid19#AsAManTHINKeth#ChangeYourEnergyChangeYourLife#MEDITATE#Meditation#ThisLifeIsTemporaryButTheSOULIsEternal #DieBeforeYouDieSoWhenYouDieYouDontDie
Do you work with the elements in your practice? The four elements, earth, water, fire, and air each correspond to the physical realm. Spirit, also referred to as Akasha, ether, or aether, resides within each of the four elements. 🌙
The element of Spirit is in everything and is our connection to the Divine. This is the element to call on when wanting to journey or receive messages from the other side. 🌙
To work in this realm, you can call on the other four elements. There’s a great blog post in our archives dedicated to working with the four elements and the cardinal directions to create a sacred space or cast a circle. I do this anytime I do journey or psychic work. It creates a safe space to practice but even more important it creates an environment to open the door to the element of spirit. Just search “Cardinal directions” on the blog to find the post I’m talking about. You can also learn more about working with the elements and directions in the Ritual Deck, pictured here. I hope you’re having a magickal weekend, dear one 💜 XOXO Cassie

Raise your hand if you’re really hard on yourself? 🖐🏽
Not just me? Okay, cool. :)
This is a (really bad quality) photo of sixteen-year-old Mums posing for tennis team shots during her senior year of high school. I played tennis throughout middle and high school (s/o to Mom and @rohinirao15 for the much-needed push) and I just loved it. I learned a lot from spending hours on a tennis court: it was the stage that taught me competition, strength, camaraderie, and confidence. To this day, a tennis court is one of my favorite places to be: it just feels like home.
But I always expected perfection from myself on the court. And every time I made some sort of error or missed a shot, instead of taking a breath and moving forward, I would ruminate and commiserate and focus only on that error, to the point where I couldn’t fully be present in the game.
It’s the same problem I have in life in general: I make plenty of mistakes, but instead of forgiving myself and moving forward, I hold on it for minutes, hours, days, weeks at a time, picking my mistake apart and wishing I could redo everything instead of actually learning and growing from it.
I’ve worked really hard over the last few months to understand why I beat myself up so much, and to gradually work on resolving this bad habit. I’m really proud of how far I’ve come. I wrote an article about this in the latest issue of the @heartfulness Magazine. The link is in my bio — I hope you’ll check it out!
How do you remind yourself to give yourself grace when you make a mistake or during tough situations? Comment below! I love hearing from all of you. Happiest of Mondays, friends! With Love., Mums 💛✨

Took “stay at home” quite literally these past 3 weeks. Staying home and spending time with my soul, my real home. Away from social media and work, connecting to the parts of life that matter most to me. My inner circle knows far too well that my yoga practice is one that hardly happens on the mat. I hope we can all adopt that mindset as the world as we’ve known it evolves. Movement yes... but stillness pertinent. Not just for our physical health but our mental health too. Get the vinyasa on but lets not skip our meditations, our moments to sit with ourselves, to study ourselves. Go inside.... no but really go inside.
