If you’ve ever taken a very very very long flight, you know it’s a must to pack a plethora of snacks so nobody dies of starvation before you get to your destination😂✈️ We have two days of travel, 20 hours of flights, and a one day layover in China. So hopefully we survive😅
Week 77 round-up (last week)
Where was I? A sleepy beach town on the south-west coast of Mexico called Puerto Escondido. With lots of hidden beaches and casual fish taco standards serving food for practically pennies, it’s definitely not a Cancun of this world. ♥️
Highs: helping to release baby turtles, watching dolphins jump on a dawn boat trip, dancing til 6am, watching sunset on a beach where the lagoon meets the sea, roasting marshmallows then swimming with luminous plankton when the sun went down. 🐢 🐬
Lowlights: scraping half my body off whilst climbing up a propellor while getting back onto the dolphin boat. Thinking my GoPro was stolen on a local bus ride when I was sleeping... then finding out I left it under the bed at my last hostel. Doh!
Where next: Mexico City! 🌃 Back again for a month this time to catch up on work, blog and generally do life. Tell me something good or bad that happened in your week!
Ah! Mas vocês são ricos, né? É a maior verdade!
Nyhavn Canal, Copenhagen
“The brightly painted townhouses are as colorful as the history of Nyhavn. Here are just a few of its historical highlights…
King Christian V built Nyhavn Canal between 1670-1673. But of course he didn’t have excavators and dump truck trucks back then. Instead he used forced labour from Swedish Prisoners of War. Under those circumstances one would assume it was dug by hand. Nyhavn canal is literally made from Swedish blood, sweat and tears.
The Canal was a working maritime port for 3 centuries. As you would expect, it was a renowned hangout for sailors, drinking and prostitution. Nyhavn was indeed the seedy side Copenhagen for many years.” - Ramon Perry
Guys... I am on my 2 legs now !!
As you know that I broke my leg and needed to be pastered for 2 months. Now I am ok, just a bit pain when I walk, so the ticket is booked right away, and ready to be #ontheroadagain real soon 😄

Day 16 & I entered Himachal Pradesh again after completing the Ladakh circuit & this picture is taken at the Rohtang Pass en route Manali. It was a long day on wheels starting from Pang of more than 300kms. I was kinda scared to cross the Rohtang Pass but it was not as scary as I had thought. It was a fun ride through the clouds, quite literally.
Rohtang Pass is a gateway to Lahaul & Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh, remains one of the most spectacular destinations in the entire Kullu region. This picturesque pass is located around 51 kms away from Manali, at a height of 3980 meters, on Manali Keylong highway.
It’s been quite chilly in Florida lately! Luckily, there’s some awesome coffee shops around.⠀
If you haven’t noticed, I love going to coffee shops! I’m not huge on coffee, but I do love cute places, beautiful decor and Green Tea Lattes! Okay, so I also like Mocha Frappes. ⠀
I’ve gone to so many coffee shops, that I ended up writing a whole post about 15 coffee shops in Orlando! ⠀
So if you’re looking for a good coffee shop in the City Beautiful, go check out my post! Link in bio 💋

I believe in her.
Her light shines bright.
Do not lose her sight. #DubaiSouk#Souk#VisitDubai
Would you travel for 8 hours back and forth and get 5 hours of sleep just to visit a place?
We usually wouldn’t 😂 We almost didn’t go to the Taj Mahal, we thought that it would take too much of our time, the drive, the stay, waking up early in the morning, standing in line, you know the drill. We don’t like to jump through hoops for any specific location 😅 But it’s the Taj Mahal!
So happy we went because I wouldn’t miss in the world making Katerina wake up at 5am.. Jk!
It’s experiencing this place together with her that made it feel so special to me even though I visited here before. Her grumpy half-asleep face, the funny things she says when she’s just waking up, standing in line in the dark and then doing jumping jacks in front of the Taj to warm up.. those are the moments we’ll remember forever.
