I’ve been keeping them since 1990. I have stacks and stacks of them. They’re filled with keepsakes. Memories of once in a lifetime experiences. So glad I stash tickets, passes, contracts, call sheets, hand written notes, love letters, greetings cards, bills and postcards.
1997 was a very good year. I had moved to London from Glasgow, a year earlier and I was very lucky to appear on my favourite TV show 4 times.
This call sheet was for when I saw two great films before their release 🎥 to review on @channel4’s Moviewatch, hosted by the legendary johnny_vaughan66 I cried a lot that day 😭 Two stunning movies.
What makes Perú extraordinary...
I have had the opportunity to live in Perú for one year and after that I have visited Perú once again. What I think is so special about Perú is that there are so many places to see and such different types of climate.
During one single day you can start your journey in Lima in the morning, with a nice view of the sea and wonderful weather 🌊🌤Later you will be passing through the mountains where you could find snow or at least see some and feel the cold weather🏔But yet a few hours later you can be in the jungle and sweat 💦
Also every region has their own type of food and specialty. So far all that I have tried has been delicious 🤤
Have you been to Perú or would you like to go there?

THIS is summer! Dancing in fading sunlight in the middle of flower fields.
Fresh air, free to run, laugh & spin to her hearts content. Perfect summer day in my book!
Summer Vacation Plans Stay the Course
People are getting OUT and hitting the road, according to CNN. They have been cooped up for quite some time, and wanderlust has now hit!
What kind of trips are they taking?
According to CNN, the answers vary. A survey commissioned by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) found that 44% of Americans are planning overnight vacations or leisure travel in 2020. Of these, 55% are traveling for some kind of family event -- like a wedding, birthday, anniversary, or family reunion.
Precautions are being taken -- and safety measures put into place -- but vacation plans are staying the course.
What are YOUR family's vacation plans for the summer?

Spending some time in the studio getting organized, sending oily samples to friends, and cleaning this beloved space with Thieves.
I love it when my home is organized and I feel SO MUCH BETTER without all of the unnecessary clutter. Although most of the time, if I am honest, it is not. I call it “organized chaos”! It is something I am trying to work on and be better & more consistent at.
We are all works in progress in most areas of our life. What is one area you are working on?
Reduced to travel only through my own picture folders, I rediscovered memories from 2016, when I skipped NYC summer for South African winter 😍. I loved every minute of my time there, let me know if you have any questions 😘. Have you ever been? Would you like to go? 🌊

DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU CAN VISIT THE BIRTH HOUSE OF MARCO POLO ON KORCULA?🙈
Most historians agree that Marco Polo was born in Venice. But few of them and every single Korcula local will argue that fact. 🧐
Both Venice and Korcula at that time were a part of the Venetian Republic.
According to one of the theories, one of Korčula's historic families went by the surname Pilić (meaning 'chicken' in Croatian). It was common at the time for merchants to use both Croatian and Italian versions of their names. In that case, Marko Pilić would become Marco Polo (pollo meaning 'chicken🐥' in Italian).
For a small fee, today you can visit what is believed to be his birth house.
I don’t know if he was born there. But if he was, Marco Polo was indeed a lucky man. The top of the house offers views to die for: both Old Town and Peljesac Channel are in the palm of your hand.😍
With or without Marco Polo, Korcula is still a fascinating place.
