Second time visiting @enotecapinchiorri since 2016 ☺️ We were surprised to meet Giorgio Pinchiorri and his daughter when we arrived this time! We opted for the contemporary tasting menu this time, which is ‘the Italian cuisine, through the ingredients, the technique and the taste’ 🇮🇹 the second amuse bouche was surprisingly oriental with a mushroom tempura!
It's been awhile as reservations are hard to get and I don't like eating late but we went ahead and waited (albeit impatiently) for a table this time around. Fortunately it was well worth the wait.
Every dish except the beef marmalade was a massive win for us - don't get me wrong, the beef marmalade was great but just too sweet for our liking. That ribeye lip was such perfection, I almost ordered a second but we went for the onglet instead and we were equally delighted.
The belly chop will have every bacon lover swooning like we did. My fork did not, could not, stop shoveling slices into my mouth. The harmonious flavour components that made up the lamb kebab had me close to picking up the plate and licking it.
Pamplona. 5.5 miles. Day 7. Fun & lively city! The streets were storming with life at 8pm on a Saturday night. Went to mass at the cathedral and heard an impossibly cute Men’s/Spanish String Chorus. Enjoyed a delicious (and cheap!) Michelin 2 ⭐️ meal. If you happen to go, get a massage from the “Pamplona Massage Angel.” Her info is the last pic. #PediluviumIruña /Pamplona #pamplonacathedral#pamplonaeltorohotelspa#michelinstar#treatyoself
