This one hour guided meditation will focus on breath awareness and body sensations to establish a basic foundation of Mindfulness which will help in bringing you to a place of relaxation and stress release.

For so long I was so fixated on the idea of reaching a destination where I would be whole and happy. That is all I wanted. I was willing to do anything to get there. I was ready to do what I needed to do in order to get there.
I was tired of feeling like I was drowning every single day by the darkness. I didn’t want to hate waking up in the mornings and having to live the life that I was. I was miserable. Everything going on in my life and in my head was far from good.

Apparently we think roughly 50,000 - 80,000 thoughts a day! So essentially our brains never stop that inner chatter whatever it may be... how many of your thoughts do you tune in to and what’s to bet they’re not always the kindest?
The mind body connection is a powerful thing and our bodies (ie. our health) will react to our inner thoughts one way or another. A continuous negative internal dialogue of self loathing, harsh judgement and criticism etc can really start to negatively impact our bodies and send us into a state of flux, self doubt and stress! Being in constant fight or flight mode is not good for anyone. Our bodies may start to respond with anxiety, depression, pain, digestive issues, sleep troubles, increased inflammation and so the list goes on. Sadly this can also become a viscous cycle.
I am not saying we solely create illness or health problems (I have my own genetic health disorder), but there are often contributing factors which may exacerbate those health problems, so it is always worth reflecting holistically to see how we can help to make a change. Once we become aware, we can make a change. Once I fully embraced this, things started to evolve.
Mindfulness and breath work are a great place to start with becoming more aware of ourselves; mind and body. I’ll post more about this in the coming days.

TWO MINS OF MINDFULNESS:
Begin your meditation practice with listening to the singing bowl here. Then set your timer to desired amount of time. If you are a beginner, I recommend 2 mins. Focus on your breathe as you breathe in and out.
When finished text if you were able to only focus on your breathe and for how long you practiced. This is not a competition. This your time to exercise your mind. Great for wellness.
When seeking where to invest your energy, dear Reader, consult your core being, and ask it what it craves.⠀
That persistent feeling in the recesses of your subconscious that beckons to break free and be made tangible, represents your Divine drive, or ‘calling’, if you will.⠀
If it feels as if some part of you will die not to pursue that passion, whatever form it may take, honor that inclination from your intuition. ⠀
If it feels scary or uncomfortable, double down in your decision to ‘do that thing’.⠀
It is safer to dive into the depths of our soul than skate along the surface of the superficial. ⠀
And if you want something deeply enough, you will find a way to make it happen, no matter how many hours it takes, or how many takes you need before you nail your shot.⠀
You will find a way, when you want it from within, and work towards setting it free, from dreams to reality. ⠀
