Yup, I’m up!
I can feel Christmas in the air, even if it’s Florida, and I have gotta make SURE I stick to my workout schedule so that I can get the rest of prep done without extra craziness!
Working out actually CALMS me down.
Once I have worked out, clarity sets in. I can see my day and plan our next moves. I can think clearly about my food. I can make decisions on what’s important and what’s not, so I go to bed with satisfaction at the end of the day!

Hey, hey, hey. Popping in early this morning to say hi.
I’ve been MIA lately because I am too enthralled with Christmas festivities to touch my phone. Now that we live in a house this year, I have been going a bit cray with the decorating.
In the meantime, I have given the whole house a scrub from head to toe. I have been experimenting with several different cleaning products and I have finally found the ones that do all the right tricks! I’ll clue you in soon.

We had so much fun today with an easy Christmas Craft!
We painted wooden discs I found on Amazon. They come pre-drilled so you can string them as ornaments. Patrick painted some with his fingers and some with his brush.

Today I screamed at her.⠀

Not yell... an extremely loud scream directed to her but not because of her.⠀

I screamed because I was frustrated with a customer service rep after I got off the phone and took it out on my daughter who was repeatedly asking to build a sandcastle with her.⠀
⠀
I felt awful after I did it and told her mommy was really frustrated right now and I need to walk away, but it didn’t take away the fact that I did it.⠀
⠀
Some days we do all the things right as a mama, and then other days we are set off by something dumb and take out our frustration on them. ⠀
⠀
Mama... we aren’t machines... we are humans... with real feelings and many levels of stress. ⠀
⠀
We’re all just trying to figure it out and there will be good days and bad.⠀
⠀
I apologized to her after I had calmed down and she apologized for asking to make sandcastles 😔 I told her it’s okay to ask... just maybe next time let’s wait until mommy is off the phone when you ask over and over again. 🤪⠀

My FriYAY went a little bit like this ...
• woke up early to ensure I got my self care sweat in, so I could fill my cup and pour to others all day
• kicked off #momlife with a debate over how many yogurt smoothies you can have for breakfast, then ran around like a Coney Island waitress feeding, clearing and cleaning the kitchen. All while packing lunches, organizing backpacks and ironing patches on Daisy uniforms
• turned into Betty Homemaker, planning dinner, movie night for kids and cleaning
• put on my CEO / #wahm hat and helped the women on my team and clients that I coach
• snuck in some time to shop for 🎅🏼 and get my eyes checked at 🎯
• went back to #momlife , embracing the beloved post preschool hanger meltdown and then snuggles before nap
• quickly turned over to volunteer mode and headed to the high school HOSA regionals competition to judge Clinical Nursing ( you guys ... HS girl bathrooms are 🤢 )
• now, ending the night with my cleats, ⚽️ and turf with my team
I wear A LOT of hats every day, but I love that I have the FREEDOM to design my days how I want them to look.

3.5 years ago, Alexandra Boyer Reidmiller joined one of my accountability groups. She was sick and tired of being sick and tired. After just 3 weeks she had jaw dropping results. Not kidding - my jaw literally dropped when she shared her day 21 ‘after’ pictures. .

Want to know one of my favorite things? Giving my little peanut all the kisses I can in a day. This child thinks he's too grown for mommy's kisses though, and he's only 3 🤦🏽♀️. Love my baby so much!
On another note, Christian and I are trying to figure out what he wants for Christmas. So far he really wants an @officiallittletikes basketball hoop, and I agree because this boy can play basketball for hours. This Christmas is going to be lowkey since we are still settling in to our new home.

Honesty Hour!
I’m a stay at home mom again after working while pregnant with Ezra...and it’s a love hate relationship.
I absolutely LOVE being home with my boys. I have bad anxiety about leaving them with a sitter or taking them to daycare, and we don’t have family members that can watch them all day if we both work. So I stay home. We play, watch movies, cuddle and learn new things. It’s awesome. The hate part is the separation. Separation from the world. Zack has the car for work (yes, we only have one 🤦🏼♀️) so we’re stuck at home all day. The only time I get out of the house is to go grocery shopping or to family outings, like tonight. ☝🏻Hence the fact that I’m actually wearing makeup for the first time in 2 weeks and my hair isn’t in a messy bun. I’ve gained weight, I have no hobbies, and zero alone time. But I’m finding myself again through motherhood.
Being a stay at home mom is my favorite job by far, but it has its struggles just like other jobs.7 25 6 December, 2019

Breastfeeding. When you got it, it's literally the easiest thing 😌. When you're trying your damnedest and you're experiencing pain, it's the hardest thing to want to continue doing 😣. It can be so terribly painful. If you're wanting to breastfeed (or are already) if there's one article you need to read, it's this one. Please read! Quick, easy, informative. Last night we bundled up and went to see the Zoo Lights at the @ptdefiancezoo. ..
This trip has been different in the sense that we tailored our days and activities around Raegan and had to alter our schedules and plans a bit at times. ..
But walking around the Zoo Lights with endless “wwwwooooooowwwww’s” from Raegan was just a reminder that as our family grows.... this is the whole point. To now at this point in our lives, create the memories and experiences for our children, and experience them all over again through their eyes. ..

We were born to be REAL not perfect. All of us.

There is no such thing as true perfection. So stop striving for perfection and focus on consistency everyday and showing up for yourself daily. My best advice is to embrace the "imperfections". It can be hard but I have noticed that understanding this and giving myself grace has been a huge reason I have been able to continue to press forward, even if the progress is slow!

The hard times, setback and struggles help us grow. They teach us who we are and make us appreciate the progress even more. We all fail and have these setback but its how we grow from them and move forward that makes us. Quitting won't get you any closer.
