Montreal Canadiens centre Jesperi Kotkaniemi sustained a concussion Thursday night, but did not suffer any other injuries. Kotkaniemi left Thursday's game against the Colorado Avalanche with an upper-body after his head struck the ice following a hit from Nikita Zadorov. Following the 3-2 loss, head coach Claude Julien said Kotkaniemi would not be travelling with the team to New York for their game against the Rangers Friday night. Julien said the hit by Zadorov was not a typical slew-foot, but added that he thought it was suspendable. "To me, that’s a dirty hit.” Julien said. The 19-year-old Finn has three goals and three assists over 21 games this season, his second season in the NHL. Let me know in the comment section below if Zadorov deserves a suspension? 🔽🔽🔽🔽

The Montreal Canadiens have continued to use their revolving door of defencemen. After Gustav Olofsson was sent down earlier today, Otto Leskinen was recalled by the team. Leskinen is in his first professional season in North America but previously played in Liiga. The 22-year-old has one goal and 11 assists in 24 AHL games this season. He also has a team-high 39 penalty minutes. He has four assists on the power play. The Finn is a mobile player who can add some offence but remains very solid defensively and most of his penalties came when he was still learning what he can and can’t get away with. It will be interesting to see how he is used by Claude Julien, as he tends to protect his younger players. Welcome to Montreal @ottoleskinen 👏🏼🔥
A bedroom piece painted for my dear friends Angela and Gab. They requested elements of the landscape around their home towns and also Boris the dog 🐕 I had alot of fun designing and painting this one and trying to find ways to match it to their personalities.

And now we take a jump over to Montreal. Thought I could get some fresh Wampatuck shots in, but the weather was shit and it's my day off haha. This place was across the street from a Portuguese rotisserie chicken place that was no joke some of the best chicken I've ever eaten. #montreal#montrealstreetart#canada#prettycity
