In episode 15 of Moose Moments we go back to March 9, 2019 against the Rockford IceHogs.
First of all, it was a special day as the Moose wore these beautiful jerseys for our Autism Awareness game in support of the St.Amant Foundation.
Second, we just had Ryan White return to the lineup after missing 36 games due to injury. What does he do? Boom! He scores the game-winning goal! I've said it before, the momentum he brings to this team is absolutely huge. Check out the emotion in that goal celebration... that's a Moose Moment right there! The Moose would go on to defeat the IceHogs 3-1. A great result to an already special game.
In episode 14 of Moose Moments we go back to Mikhail Berdin's first AHL shutout on February 10, 2019.
We got this great shot of Moose veteran goaltender Eric Comrie handing over the game puck to Mikhail following a 2-0 victory over the Texas Stars. I think it's a great gesture from a supportive teammate and it makes a wonderful photo moment commemorating a big milestone for a young player.
Beautiful photo of a moose with her calf near Kettle Falls. 💕 There are about 3,000 moose in Washington, with the majority of them in the Selkirk Mountains (Pend Oreille, Stevens, Ferry, and Spokane counties). Calves often live with their mother until the cow drives them off to give birth to a new calf the following spring. Remember that even though moose can seem very quiet and gentle, they can change their disposition quickly. Always enjoy moose from a distance and use binoculars and telephoto camera lenses.
