Our weekly situation. #HillsFace @_hills_awesome_life_ developing some patellar tendon pain from other sports he is playing mixed with over-activity. Some dynamic cupping therapy on the quad and @rocktape should destress the rec femoris tendon and relieve the knee cap from superior pull, thus releasing the patellar tendon (they all connect through fascial layering!)
Hang in there big stud, you’ll be back running 10,000 miles per day like normal. @manlin0708 @forefitnessgolf | @cagolfcenter

Life is like a sea. We are moving without end. Nothing stays with us. What remains is just the memories of some people who touched us as waves.
Have a good day! ✌️🌊
On the way SensingBodyAcademy for the first day of the Advanced Teacher Training!!
🔆 Good Morning!!
To my students for the first day to keep it until last day 🤗
As Jeff Foster says,
🔆 Positive thinking is the psychological version of plastic surgery of the body. It doesn’t work.
🔆 Positive thinking is really thinking that is totally obsessed with negativity, at war with negativity, which is very negative when you think about it. .
🔆 Positive thinking simply masks flaws, imperfections, quirks, uniquenesses, covering up th ‘dark’ aspect of experience but never really dealing with it, facing it, embracing it, healing it, loving it. We may feel better temporarily, but there are no true external sources of happiness. .

@alcaldiadecali @movilidadcali 🤷🏻♂️🦓🦓🦓🦓
Happy Friday! 🙌🏼🎉🥰💖
How are you spending your weekend? Fancy some ‘Classic Sass’ yoga? Well look no further! Before heading on holiday, I filmed an hour’s class with my amazing teacher Dilly-Bob the cat...🙄
Yes - he’s a mummy’s boy and this is what I deal with - every. single. day. He’s glued to my side, even when I’m sleeping and filming yoga!
So, roll out your mat- or don’t if you don’t have one - just find some space! You don’t need anything but yourself... and enjoy! 😍
If you like it, leave me a comment on my YouTube video as I’m planning on doing a lot more online come 2020!

💥🐳 Walking back from a beach in Valencia, Spain yesterday, an older, joyful gentleman was sculpting, crafting, carving this incredible sand castle work of art. He didn’t want money, he didn’t want help, he simply wanted to do what lit him up and then share it with the world. It reminded me so strongly that so often it’s not about the thing you do, the product you provide, the productivity you contribute...it is the INNER FIRE YOU STOKE, the BRILLIANT LIGHT YOU EMIT, the CONTAGIOUS JOY YOU SPREAD by getting into the FLOW OF WHAT FEEDS YOUR SOUL.🌀DO WHAT MAKES YOU INCANDESCENTLY HAPPY, AND YOU DO WHAT IS BEST FOR THOSE AROUND YOU AS WELL. You allow them to share, support and rally around your excitement, or you offer them a perfect opportunity to ask themselves why they cannot be happy for your happiness...either way, it is a PERFECT CO-CREATION.🥰Luv you all, HAPPY SANDCASTLE MAKING! 🐳💥
If you practice searching for a Master. He will find you and you will be disappointed.
Because masters are human. And not accepting their humanness, you are denying your.
And you will always disappointing yourself for romantically putting them on a pedestal.
Because one day or other they will fall down.
I think it’s time to get rid of the sweet coated legend of the masters.
Transformation is a magical messy process for a not awaken soul. It could be painful if we are trap in the loop of our current situation feeling it will be permanent.
Wow I had an awesome day today....really cool foot stuff. Let’s talk big toe pain. Yes, AGAIN. My patient recently had the Cartiva procedure. This is a surgery to help patients who have developed hallux rigidus. Bottom right: Cartiva avoids fusion by utilizing a synthetic cartilage to still allow motion. Bottom left pic is a fusion. Zero motion left at the big toe 😭......which I found out today (thank you to my meeting with a new podiatry graduate) is a VERY COMMON procedure taught in all schools because the hardware companies sponsor the residency programs...OMG
My patient did her due diligence. We attempted conservative measures first, but that little guy had too much momentum on her. She sought out an excellent surgeon, and we both agreed surgery was the way to go
Now this is where I wish our worlds would collide a little better. The surgeon did a good job. Patient was VERY HAPPY with procedure. Folks, this is huge. The trust factor is there. BUT, following the procedure she was disappointed with the post op recommendations. Why? Because there weren’t any
You mean I just had my big toe cut open and there’s nothing I can do? What about how my gait has been altered? What about the tissues that have been dormant because for the past zillion years, I haven’t been able to get to full ankle/hip extension? What about explaining WHY you think the hallux rigidus developed there in the first place? Yes heels, I get it. But not every woman on the planet that wears heels doc, gets hallux rigidus. So talk to me doctor? WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW
Now if our 2 worlds collided, surgeon does his job and says, Hey, why don’t you go and see so and so, and work on strength and gait retraining
Now she was our patient, so she knew better, thank you Jesus, and now she is here, and I can sleep at night and now we get to work
I’m going to leave you with a little teaser here, watch the videos of her gait in slow motion. Notice anything funky about that big toe
Yea me too. Stay tuned 😉. See next post. I forgot to post the teaser. It’s late.

‘When a man moves away from nature his heart becomes hard.’ -Lakota Indian Saying
The further we get away from nature the more lost we become. Get back to nature and your heart heals. The silence itself is healing
Goodness knows hearts are hardening in the world. You see it all over. Hugging a tree is a nice beginning 😉
Good place to start finding yourself...

A strong core is designed to create stability so we can have the freedom to move distally.
Here are a couple of fun variations you can try to build a stronger core.
Oblique Plank Twists: move your body as one unit throughout the whole exercise.
Keep the movement as controlled as possible and place the elbow on the ground softly before transitioning to the other side.
Plank Stabilization with Lax Ball: use alternating arms to take the lacrosse ball on and off the small of your back. The lax ball will expose energy leaks as dropping of the hips or shoulders will cause the ball to roll off.
Give these a try and let us know your thoughts!
