The Reach at the Kennedy Center is officially open! The space is a living theater where diverse art forms collide to break down the boundaries between audience and art, and serves as an immersive learning center, a public incubator, and a set of collaborative spaces where one can experience art. Did you get a chance to check it out and attend any of the events during the opening festival?

Fiesta DC 2019
Hispanic heritage month.
Loved this weekend. Thank you for visiting us and exploring all the skincare + makeup. By the end of this week we will have many new things + restocks - ready for fall, even if the weather is late to the game 🍂 Thanks for this photo @mamasaurnation!
* STORY SUNDAY * (Part 2)
After we both graduated college, we kept in touch, calling each other or texting once a month. Tim & I would actually go up to visit every semester. She was always one of the first people that we saw. Every time Danielle & I met up, the question of “are you seeing anyone?” always came up. For about a year, the answers were the same. She’s single & I’m taken.
There was this time that Danielle visited New York City for two weeks. She called me up saying that she wanted to see me. So, we met up a couple of nights later & it’s like we didn’t miss a beat. We talked, went for a horse carriage ride together, & I took her out to dinner. Sooner or later, the question came up. She asked me how my girlfriend & I were doing? I told her that we broke up a while back. She had this sad look on her face because many people including herself that thought we were going to last. I asked her & she said that she’s not seeing anyone. I thought to myself that it was time to make a move. The feeling was right, she expressed interest, & it felt like she wanted to go to the next level. However, I was too much of a gentleman to actually do anything. I just put my arm around her and that was it. No hand-holding nor a kiss at the end of the night. We said goodbye & went our separate ways again.
It turns out that was my only chance. We met up again one year later & this time, she brought her boyfriend George. I was disappointed, but I was happy for her cause she found someone. Eventually, I backed off & let their relationship flow. They ended up getting married & she “fell” for him. They currently live in upstate New York & have one kid with another one along the way. BTW, We still keep in touch.

Some street shots from the 2019 H Street Festival 📸
This was my first time going to the DC H Street Festival and it was worth it (despite the hot weather). There was a lot of live music, not as many activities but a good amount of food and drinks of course.
Got a nice video edit coming soon from the H Street Festival so make sure you have that notification bell turned on 🔔

Weekend in Review: Small groups, rest, and life together. We met this morning and sang songs that speak about our identity as believers in Christ and his great name. We continued our series in James looking at 3:13-18, which speaks about living a wise life that is mastered by the grace of Jesus Christ. #churchplanting#church#washington#washingtondc
A stroll down the cobblestone-lined Pearl Street at @thewharfdc will lead you to @pearlstreetlive, The Wharf’s cozy venue channeling the Americana vibes of legendary music halls around the country. But Pearl Street Warehouse and @theanthemdc aren't the only places to see a show. @unionstage offers a packed calendar that includes a wide range of independent acts. 📷: @juuuujuu#MyDCcool

Scootered for the first time today, @sbmulls got to enjoy all of my commentary on the phone as I fell off and dropped my scooter in front of a group of cute boys (no one helped me lol) and then took this video as I struggled to get across the last crosswalk 🙈 #scootscoot#mydccool#help
