I BUILT THIS! .
Truth time... I’m not super good at math. Fractions stress me out and it’s kind of embarrassing. So building this structure- figuring out the dimensions, checking that it’s square, measuring... was extremely challenging for me BUT HOT DAMN I DID IT. .
Super thankful for a very patient fiancé who taught me how to use all the tools properly and talked me through the math when I got pissed. Forever grateful for him. .
Now I’m gonna go build all the things 😆
Another weekend at home and I’m not that mad about it. 🤷🏽♀️ 😊I completed a small project today that has been looming for months and it feels so good! Swipe to see what this #sameview looked like before we moved in. 😳😳 Are you stewing in new projects to do now that we are home all the time? 🙈
No place like home ✨ not quite done my room yet but wanted to share some progress with you guys! I love how much bigger our room feels with the wall moulding + White walls! We currently have no trim in our room as we are replacing our flooring to match the rest of the house so we still have lots to do!
Is this my first time editing a video? YUP. Did I try to photoshop grass? SURE DID. Was I successful with either? YOU TELL ME.
This is my first ever @betterhomesandgardens@oneroomchallenge. It also happens to be my first time using an auger, a jackhammer, and a tiller. It was my first time building a fence, a dog house, a table, swings and a pergola. And since we’re listing things, my first time painting brick, stenciling cement and spray painting windows.
I guess my point is, I wanted to quit. LIKE A LOT. And 2 months ago, I’d never done any of the things you see in this video.
So, if you want to know where to start… just look around. Start there.
My variegated rubber tree up close! These leaves 😍😍 I’m doing a little Q & A on stories today if your interested.

Happy Happy Sunday ❤️
I promise I am not sponsored by Maltesers but the cheesecake definitely is 😉
And it’s insane , so easy to make with so many options (chocolate) to throw in there.
350g chocolate digestives
100g dark Lindt 70% chocolate
200g milk cooking chocolate (good quality )
300g Philadelphia cream cheese or the 287g tub is fine .
50g icing sugar
25g malted milk powder
25g hot chocolate powder
300ml double cream
1teasp vanilla essence
2 big bags of maltesers
Make the base by crumbling up biscuits to a fine crumb, add melted butter and put in bottom of springform tin , chill in fridge while you make filling.
Melt dark and milk chocolate in bowl over simmering water, you can do separate to have that layered look too.
Add all other ingredients to a mixing bowl and I used my kMix to beat them up together for 3 minutes. add melted chocolate to cheese mix . Fold in about 120g of full and halved maltesers , I also chopped up some white toblerone (duty free must) and added to mix too.
Pour all this on top of biscuit base .
Add some maltesers to top by pressing in gently.
Cover with a wrap and place in fridge overnight to chill
When it comes to art, it’s very much a case of the bigger the better. You can fake it to some extent by clustering smaller pictures into a gallery wall, but nothing compares to an oversized artwork that grabs your attention the moment you step into a room. 👌
Double up and place two complementary pieces next to (instead of over) a fireplace for maximum impact.
If oversized art is outside of your budget, trying offsetting a smaller piece above a sideboard or sofa – hanging it centrally will make it look lost. ❕

Anddd the 6 day working week is done. Funnily enough, I’m a lot less tired than I was when working from home. Even so, tonight will be dedicated to reading, eating and unwinding.

Today — instead of leading with "I should" lead with "I want.” Let your body do the talking and do what *feels* right.
Be gentle with yourself & cut yourself some slack. If you're exhausted, rest. If you're hungry, eat! And if you're craving pancakes, embrace it!
Don't fall into the pressures of what you think you should be doing today. Allow yourself to do exactly what you want.
It's easy to burn out or lose focus of your goals when you don’t give yourself enough room to breathe. So if you can, make some room for yourself and your wants today. #fromyourmuse

I can’t believe it’s been two months (in quarantine) since I switched out all of the door hardware in this house, but man was it the most simple and impactful update!
These @schlagecanada levers are truly gorgeous and have made all the difference to modernize our home. They clean well (lots of that happening) and have resisted any and all wear in these past two months. I think the real crowning moment was when my 11 year old nephew noticed them on Canada day and told me how nice they were! 🙈
Am I training him well to pay attention to details OR WHAT?
I loved partnering with @schlagecanada for this update and would recommend them again and again. Quick, easy, durable, beautiful.👌🏼
*NEW PROJECT ALERT*
Mini Master update in the works & I couldn’t be more obsessed! As luck would have it our 3yr warranty touch ups causing us to repaint, aligned with a few days off before we hit the road to soak up our happy place for an entire WEEK (ahhhhh!!!)
We took advantage to the MAX & started a textural wall project to make this room pop! Plus finally finished the custom 8’ planter for the porch (go check out my stories if you missed it!) Heart on fire is an understatement.
As much as I am excited to finish this wall, it’s time to live on a floatie, in a lake, w/ my people, w/ Rosé in hand at all times for days on end 🦩it’s just what the soul order. Happy Sunday!

If there is a prettier spice rack than this beauty designed by @theidentitecollective I DARE you to find it...
Little details make a big difference, and day #4 of the Home Organizing Challenge w/ @inkandvolt is to spruce and organize your spices. 🍃
Quick tips below:
- Compost expired spices and recycle the jars
- Decant your favorites into uniform glass jars
- Add labels (these are from @kimnegaard)
- Set them up in a drawer, shelf, rack, or turntable for easy access
I’m sharing my own little set up over on Stories today. I did not use a funnel and made a huge mess. Please learn from my mistakes. 😉

Office reveal!! 🎉 I’ve never had a cute office space of my own until now! Thanks to @flexispot_sitstandmove I now have a functional AND cute desk! 👏🏼 Head to my stories to see the secret this desk is hiding! I’m seriously amazed! I couldn’t have found a more perfect desk for my lifestyle! Mixing crafternoons with work/online shopping has never been made easier... bc [spoiler] It’s also an automatic standup desk 🤭
Tap the link in my bio to get a discount on this desk and to shop items in my home! #gifted
If you’re looking for a super fun, totally unusual shelter-in-place activity tonight, @master_pancake_theater is streaming Jaws live tonight at 8pm CST on Twitch. Master Pancake is hands down my favorite part of living in Austin & I find it wildly generous they take their comedy show online for free during the pandemic. Here is the gist: 3-4 comedians live comment during a film screening, pausing 3/4 through for a live skit (complete with handmade costumes) resulting in uncontrollable, pee-your-pants laughter.
PS - Just unwrapped these beauties from @gatherround & preparing for date night in.

It was a Sunday well spent, right here, watching my favourite show OF ALL TIME (I mean maybe, I’m just really excited that it’s back) “Dark” on Netflix and soaking in home...
And now it’s Monday.
