Chilli pek pie
So I've done a few pek pies but I think this is my favourite. In my blender I put a tbsp of the Chinese salt & chilli seasoning, a tbsp of mixed herbs and a ripped up WW Wrap. I blitzed it all till fine, I then transfered it to a bowl and added an egg white(save the yolk for later) I mixed it all together till it came together in a ball. I placed the ball between greaseproof paper and rolled it out flat. I got a tin of pek ham(green tin) it was the 20% extra one so I trimmed it down (I,ll use the off cuts for breakfast)
Into a hot frylighted pan I seared the pek all over then put it aside for 5 mins. I placed the pek atop the rolled out wrap pastry and folded it up and around it and crimped the top with a fork, I brushed the yolk all over before poppin it on a heated baking tray and into a preheated 200 oven for 30 mins, turning at 15 for even browning.
I served it with actifry chips n beans. This crackin little banquet is free when usin the wrap as ya HE b

Some things take time.
You have to go through the ups and downs, the questions, the facts and the healing process itself to learn and grow.
James 1:2-6 gives a bit of insight into this.
But remember, it’s not over. All is not lost. The game isn’t over yet. It’s just part of the process.
You are NOT defeated.
To be honest, this is something I have struggled with all of my life.
If you would have asked me even a year ago what I needed to do to feel confident, I would have said something surrounding my body image and acceptance from others.
Over the past year... I have realized confidence is really so much more than that.
Sure, I started this journey to loose a few pounds and become confident in my body. Which I did, but over the course of this I have learned that in order to actually FEEL confident with myself, I needed to do more work to my inside than my outside. I needed to really dig deep in my heart and do work there.
I have done this through diving into personal development first thing every morning. I fill my cup up, feel confident, and then give my all to others.
I have also done this through meditation. Every day, I turn off the outside world, and really get real and at peace with myself. Because if you are not at peace with yourself, you will not have confidence.
And, I have surrounded myself with people who people who life me up and encourage me everyday. If you’re around people that are negative and bringing you down, it is hard to build confidence.

Yes you are what you eat, but more importantly you are what you ABSORB!! Clean, anti inflammatory eating plan along with improving my gut health and lowering the toxin load is how I got my body on the path towards optimal health.
Not only did I drastically reduce inflammation in my gut and systemically, I greatly increased my nutrient intake and also gave my body the ability to once again ABSORB all the wonderful nutrients I am taking in.
I had so many nutrient deficiencies, and not all of it was from my eating plan. Part of the issue was I was not absorbing much of what I was taking in. Part of it was caused by a toxin overload. And of course my gut was a mess!! Thank God for Functional Medicine and Functional Nutrition for educating me and getting me the answers I need.
I am so grateful that not only I have taken back control of my life, I now get to help others do the same everyday! This right here...what I mentioned above...these are your 1st steps towards wellness and for some with chronic illness, this alone changes everything! Set the stage, create an environment in you where disease isnt welcome. If you are blessed with your health, I pray you cherish that and work daily on maintaining that.

Finished my longest race to date...Devonport 15km race...all part of the build up to my first half marathon in couple months time.
Am happy and also slightly disappointed in this race... happy that I ran 15km without stopping once.
Disappointed in the time I did (1:31:55) as I wanted it slightly faster but it wasn't to be today. Will have to beat this time in 4 weeks time for the next 15km race. Onwards and upwards from here @coach_sunz
I’M BACK!!! 😋 .... I know I’ve been away for a while and so much has changed! I’m sorry to those I have not replied to as yet and to those I have let down by being off insta for a while but I’m back! 💪🏼 Last year had many great moments and some of the worst moments of my life. My life has changed in so many ways and I’ve learnt many lessons. This year I feel will be filled with great things, why? Because IM GOING TO MAKE THEM HAPPEN!! Had a little sleep in, was so good and much needed 😴😁 yesterday I did a while lot of NOT MUCH 🤟 and a little bit of NOTHING 😉 had a bit of a headache so chilled most of yesterday, feeling extremely recharged for it to 💪
Today is mow the lawns, meal plan and prep, tidy up the house and section and organizing myself for the working week. Early start tomorrow, another early meeting, too early to even get a workout in before I have to leave, but it's all good will get something done when I get home 🤟 NO EXCUSES!!!!!! Chill time is needed to reset focus, rest the body, rest the mind and just recharge 💙

My mug again!! So back in November I made a bet with my Mumma that I wouldn’t have any Aesthetic treatments until my birthday (February 16th)!! I’m not even allowed Micro (can you believe it 🙄)! I won’t lie it’s been tough, but it’s also very easy to get carried away when you do what I do.
BUT... That meant I had to be REALLY strict on my daily routines! So what have I done... Because as you can see my skin has been really clear for the duration! I’ve kept it very simple. As always... It’s all thanks to @aldiuk every morning I use my facial wash (moisturise and refreshing alternately), and my caviar day cream. Of an evening I use the caviar night cream. Once a week I use my exfoliating wash, and glycolic pads! FYI the only make up worn here...

A very BASIC and very CHEAP regime that (🤞🏼) has continued to work well!! I won’t lie... tea tonight was sw style chips and @pinchofnom crispy chilli beef made by my husband - tbh I think he’s forgotten how to cook as it wasn’t his best meal he’s made. He’s also not grand at following instruction (recipe) 🙄 but at least he tried! .
Because so many people have been messaging me 🥰🙏🏼♥️ Here are the products I mainly used (I am 100% Monat for everything except bleaching & dying because we don’t make that yet! - I did try something else for a week back in February but it was gross & I did have to use a medicated shampoo for a little bit back then with my Monat, but this “before picture” was after all that)
I used IR shampoo for first wash, renew for second, revitalize conditioner, IRT spray & replenish masque once a week, charcoal gelee masque every couple weeks & oil treatments 2 times a week & sometimes black shampoo as my first wash for awhile because i love the smell & the tingle 😘😆.... I also used Rejuvabeads, Restore Leave In, blow out cream & thermal protect styling shield. Now I use a variety of our products because I love them ALLLLLLL ♥️♥️♥️ I have seen other women go through this and they don’t get the same results with their hair using other brands and types of products. But you have to use more than just our shampoo & conditioner. Just like skincare. You need the serums & masks and other treatments for targeting specific issues. It’s an investment. No gym today but wanted to share some progress- also avoiding editing cuz its the devil- I didn’t take many pictures when I first started but as you can see I was very much a twig with a mushy middle. I had already been gyming for nearly a year when I took the pic on the right. The left was yesterday.
You really can accomplish anything if you really want to. But please do some research and ask questions for yourself. Don’t fall for fad diets and people saying “join my team” unless that is something you truly feel you need/want to do. Most times you end up wasting time and money going in a direction you don’t want to.
It takes nothing but you deciding by yourself that you want to change.
I eat close to 2800 calories a day with no restrictions( I want to get bigger but the right way). I do have an awesome RD to be in my pocket😉 @breannekay04 and constantly pick her brain about what foods are best for me.
I did the fad thing for a very short time btw- lost so much muscle and set myself back immensely....

The gym can be a scary place can’t it? especially if you don’t feel confident inside it. So below I’m sharing a few tips with you to maybe help you feel more confident as I used to be that scared person when I first ever started going and now I’m like nah.. we all here doing the same thing 🙋🏽♀️ -
1. - 🧚🏼♂️ A super cute gym set always helps! if you feel comfortable in what you are wearing it makes you feel so much better ☺️ -
2. 🧚🏼♂️ Trying write down your workout in your phone or on a notebook so your prepared before you get there and you know exactly what your doing 📝 -
3. 🧚🏼♂️ Pur your earphones in, blast your music and this will help you get in the zone and ignore everything else around you! -
4. 🧚🏼♂️ it doesn’t matter how much weight you use! Try not to compare yourself to others, everyone lifts different. Just concentrate on you and build yourself up to gradually add more on! 🏋🏽♀️ -
4. 🧚🏼♂️ Just act confident even if you don’t really know what your doing 😂 No one will question if you look like you do 🤪 -
5. 🧚🏼♂️ Most importantly NOBODY is more worthy of being there than anyone else. Everyone is there for their own reason and we are all there on our own journeys so just remember- YOU ARE WORTHY 💚 -
