New at our Signature Location in Crowfoot.⠀
Decades 5 is the only producer in the world devoted to the 5th Bordeaux Varietal, Petit Verdot. Stagecoach Vineyard sits between 1,200 and 1,750 feet in elevation, which is high above the Napa Valley fog line. These grapes enjoy added hours of sunlight and warmth, which allows for Petit Verdot to achieve a ripeness not found anywhere else in the Valley.⠀
Tasting Notes: Fruity, velvety entrance evolving on a fresh mid-palate with touches of star fruit, plum, grapefruit, pomegranate lingering on granular tannins, fern and cassis liqueur and red currant.⠀
Limited inventory of Decades 5, 2013 is available in our temperature-controlled Collector’s Library. #decades5#decades5wine#napavalley#winelover#yycwine#yycnow#yycliving#winewednesday#stagecoachvineyard

Robert Mondavi Napa Valley Chardonnay Vintage 2017 🥂
This Chardonnay, grown in the cool climate on the Southern Napa Valley, delights the palate with fresh pear and citrus flavors with an undercurrent of crème brulee. It's fermented in a barrel as well as in stainless steel to maintain brightness. French oak-barrel aging, including sur-lie aging, creates a memorable creamy texture. 🍐 #BWL#robertmondavi

“Drinking wine, looking fine” 😉
Girls trip to Napa! Need a group pic done, I got you!
2016 Caymus Special Selection Cabernet Sauvignon and 2018 Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon available @happywinegrove. Call (305) 460-9939 for information! @caymuscab
According to the Wagner Family of Wne, Caymus Special Selection is the flagship wine of the family and comprised of the very best barrels of the vintage; it is not produced in difficult years. Caymus Napa Valley is more representative of a standard Napa Valley cabernet, less precocious than the Special Selection but still delivering big. Caymus prides itself on producing wines that are as approachable in youth as well at maturity. Both are made under the winemaking hand of Chuck Wagner.
Tonight, we change gears and go from veraison to harvest. This harvest will be unlike any other, but that doesn't mean we're slowing down one bit. Wednesday, 9 am // The art of perfumery has long been a passion of Samantha Rudd, and having Loreto Remsing join us last year for our Unlikely Collaborators Residency Program allowed us time to reflect on how we approach scent at the Estate.⠀
Based in Marin County, Loreto is a self-taught perfumer who focuses on natural and mixed media scents. After studying aromatherapy for over 18 years, she immersed herself in the practice with a focus on the traditional extraction methods used by herbalists and perfumers of the past, prior to the advent of synthetic perfumery.⠀
During her residency, she was inspired by our gardens, vineyards, and wines, and these two room sprays are her interpretation of the Biodynamic Gardens at the Estate and the Vines in Bloom. We’re excited to share our new room spray scents with you, and hope these will transport you back to your last visit.⠀

The 2020 winegrape harvest is officially underway in Napa and Sonoma counties about a week earlier than expected.
The kickoff reportedly started Monday, where crews picked the first grapes for sparkling wine. But unlike previous years, celebrations have been muted.
Instead of hosting large crowds, winery workers are just popping a few corks and de-masking long enough for a toast.
104.7 WONK FM's Jen Richer talks with Wine Maker Donald Patz about the challenges wineries have been facing under the pandemic. Listen to the full interview by visiting the link in our bio.
Oh hello summer on a plate!
I absolutely loooove bruschetta, but only with fresh tomatoes.
Yes, I’m a tomato snob. Tomatoes from the grocery store simply suck compared to fresh, and I won’t even bother making something like this with them.
I sliced a day old baguette (fresh is fine) and lightly toasted the slices. In a bowl I mixed two kinds of tomatoes and basil from our garden, local olive oil, a nice thick aged balsamic, and some sea salt.
Soooooooooo good! And once again, simple, fresh, quality ingredients do the work, making something simple something divine.
So here’s my question, if you grow tomatoes how are they this year? Mine are slow and sad. We have 5 or 6 plants out back, one is producing, one has a ton of flowers but never seems to fully pollinate, one has a couple of big, fat tomatoes that are taking forever to ripen, and the others have nothing. Zip. Zilch. Nada.
A friend here in town was talking about the same thing in her garden on fb the other day. (Hey there @solebodymo !) If you have tomatoes growing how are they? Where do you live? Is this a Napa thing? Am everywhere thing? A what are you talking about mine are doing great thing?
I have many tomato dishes and sauces I want to make. Grow, babies, grow!!!

SOLD! A successful “10 Days of ACGA”. I’ve made a donation to @cerfplus as pledged. Many thanks to everyone from the organizers, the artists and our patrons for making this event a success!
Mumm Brut Rosé is a bottle you’d never miss while shopping in-store. I mean IT’S PINK 🎀 and it will never fail you, especially when sippin’ poolside. 🥂
When researching this wine I found that in the winemaking process they blend 80% Pinot Noir grapes and 20% Chardonnay.
What does that mean? ⬇️
Pinot Noir is responsible for the wine’s soft texture and fruit forwardness. Chardonnay contributes structure and elegance. 🍇
...thus, creating a rich, mouth-filling yet elegant taste overall. 🥰
Q: Have you tried this wine before & when do you like to drink these pink bubbles? 🍾 - Pool days, celebrations, no occasion necessary ;)
