Hi everyone! I haven't been very busy since the coronavirus and decided to start a blog about my travel experiences. If you want to follow my travels you can subscribe via email and I will try my best to make weekly or biweekly posts. This is my first blog post and my first website, so if you notice anything that can be improved let me know and I will try to fix it. This blog is about Nara, Japan's first permanent Capitol, where deer are sacred. www.tjexplores.com is the website. #deer#nara#traveljapan
The Todaiji Temple in Nara, Japan is one of the world's biggest wood structures, you can get an idea of it's size by looking at the people near the entrance. The original building dated back to the year 738 but it was burned twice and hit by some strong earthquakes, the current building is a more modern reconstruction that it's supposed to be around 30% the size of the original.
