As Summer approaches many of us are busy planning vacations. Here are some tips to help you save money on your next adventure!.
BE FLEXIBLE- The best way to save money is to have a bit of leeway with dates. If you can swing it, leaving a day or two earlier or later could save travelers hundreds of dollars in airfare. And avoiding peak travel is always smart: Prices for travel jump on weekends — especially long weekends.
KNOW YOUR TRAVEL APPS- To get the best deals.
BE OPEN MINDED- Frugal travelers should be open-minded to destinations they may not have previously considered.
BE SKEPTICAL- Compare prices on bundled vacations to what it would cost to purchase airfare, hotel nights and rental cars separately.
STAY SOMEWHERE NEW- Consider all your options when looking for the cheapest place to stay in town.
BOOK EARLY- Book end of summer travel as early in the season as you can. Domestic airfare is generally at its cheapest about two months before the departure date
And of course don't forget to purchase travel insurance!! #brentwood#murfreesboro#insurance#nashvilleinsurance

Sleeping Well Feels Just as Good as Winning the Lottery!!
It’s no secret that a good night’s sleep can do wonders for your mood. Now, a new study shows that improving your Z's over time is associated with better health and well being. In fact, researchers say, scoring better shuteye perks up mental health as well as winning the lottery. Studies have also shown that poor sleep can slow metabolism and lead to weight gain, which can also affect both physical and emotional health. Sleep quality, on the other hand, was linked to both physical and mental health. This finding challenges the predominant focus on sleep quantity in some of the public health messages who argue that how well you sleep is at least as important as how much you sleep.
It's recommended to spend at least seven and a half hours in bed, and paying close attention to how you feel during the day.
For anyone looking to improve their sleep quality, Dr. Goldstein of this particular study, says a good place to start is keeping electronic devices out of the bedroom, and reducing exposure to screens and bright light between dusk and bedtime. “Our bodies were not equipped to get that bright light, and it’s going to suppress melatonin and make it harder to sleep,” she says.
She also recommends talking to your doctor if you have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or if you regularly feel tired during the day—even if you’re technically logging the “right” number of hours in bed.
In short. Get good quality sleep and you'll feel better! #insurance#nashvilleinsurance#sleep
