The first thing you need to know for this story is that I am not comfortable in the water. I've never liked swimming, but I'm trying to get better at snorkeling so I can see all the awesome sealife. After we anchored, I jumped in to practice using my mask more. Kyle swam up towards the bow to check on the anchor. When he called back to me, gently but urgently, "Darce? Go back to the swim platform." I knew exactly what he saw. It had to be a shark. His literal job used to be keeping novice divers from panicking. I got back to the swim platform and watched as two nurse sharks lazily swam along the bottom, right under our boat! I stayed calm, and I'm 100% counting this as swimming with sharks! These are also the first sharks we've seen this season, and luckily Kyle had the camera with him, photos make this story so much better! #sharkencounter#nurseshark#keepitwild#welcometotheexumas
These birds are often seen in dumna nature park. I was easily able to capture this bird as from the safe and respectful distance from the bird without causing any disturbance to the bird as to reach a good distance from mostly birds you have either wait for the bird to come to you or move slowly towards the bird and in this case i was able to reach at the desired and also most important good distance from the bird.
Some information about the Lesser adjutant(stork) via web.
The lesser adjutant is a large wading bird in the stork family Ciconiidae. Like other members of its genus, it has a bare neck and head. It is however more closely associated with wetland habitats where it is solitary and is less likely to scavenge than the related greater adjutant. It is one of the largest breeding birds found in the country and is listed as Vulnerable due to its small and rapidly declining population.

In Gondar, medieval capital of Abyssinia, remains of its great history are omnipresent. And sometimes historic monuments are integrated in 'modern' buildings, providing for a unique mixture of old and new. (2009)
This is my final mini-album I did with my EOS 1100D during a second tour of Oaxaca before it was stolen. I visited old ruins, saw a 10,000 year old drawing on a rock but the biggest highlight for me was the petrified waterfall (Hierve el Agua) and the nature surrounding it. Absolutely beautiful!
soy un pájaro aferrado a la copa de un árbol,
y no a mi raíz,

African Black Mamba
The longest venomous snake in Africa. Its bite delivers a tremendous amount of paralysis-inducing neurotoxins. The snake's venom is so strong and so voluminous that it can kill an elephant in just a few hours. Death also results in at least 50 to 60 percent of untreated human cases.
