This is my beautiful friend Alyssa. She lives in Texas and I am in Maryland. That didn’t stop us from doing our own random “virtual photo shoot” during a FaceTime conversation. She did her makeup and hair, I told her to go outside to get the beautiful natural light and she took a selfie with her phone. She did all of the work and I did some simple edits. It was a fun and quick thing to work on together and keep our minds on positive things during this chaotic time. Hopefully we can do a couple more!
Btw, if you’re a Texas photographer, I highly recommend that you hire Alyssa for modeling. She is a natural beauty, has experience and she’s great at it!

I remember the still life set ups in all my drawing classes in college...they were not interesting at all. Maybe they were intended to be more technical than eye pleasing but man, they were so boring draw. Learning to manually control my camera and use natural lighting is my new focus this month. I really wish antique shops were open so I could find some interested things for these set ups. #artschool#stilllife#photography#naturallight#wildflowers
I knew the white kitchen color inspo day would be a good one. There is a little bit of a theme baked in, can you tell what it is? My second inspo pic of the day is by the talented @alihenrie in Provo, Utah. There’s a lot to love in this, don’t you think? I bet you can guess what my favorite part is... Architect: @hebdonstudios

“ When dusk descends on Mexico City, an all-white house takes on a surreal new atmosphere as an alchemy of LEDs bathes the interior in vibrant colors. The dreamlike abode is the work of Miguel Angel Aragonés, a self-taught architect of the Mexican design studio Taller Aragonés, and one of four structures on his property—three houses and a studio—collectively called Los Rombos after their rhomboid shape.” —Dwell
