We are creatures of habit, yearning for a way to be heard but rarely stop to hear. Caught up in our phones, worried about matching tones, rather have likes than lives and for what? It’s when we stop to listen, that we end up living. #breakthehabit
... Ich überlege eine Minute, was in 'ner Minute passiert .. Gefühlt ja nicht viel..
Mir fällt etwas runter, du hebst schon lange was auf..
So'n Typ lebt seinen Traum, auf den jemand anderes baut.. 'Ne Nachricht geht unter, an die jemand Einsames glaubt
Albtraum, weil jeder Einsame jemand Einsames braucht.. Was passiert schon in einer Minute?... .
~ Fynn Kliemann „eine Minute“
Looking Up... The magnificent Mr T - the tri colored heron is beginning to wear his breeding plumage - the feathers on his back getting longer the intense colors more vibrant. Mr T is, as you know, one of the usual suspects. He has been represented in art many times - his portrait by @andrewnaeger is where I can always see it! I’ve really enjoyed my years with this group of regulars - sitting near them trying for new poses each time - yesterday’s winds and grooming plus a watchful eye in the sky for the raptors brought about this elegant capture! Have a wonderful week! 🐦The Tri colored Heron A colorful heron with a mix of blue-gray, lavender, and white. Unlike other dark herons, they have a white belly. Breeding birds have small white plumes extending from the back of the head, a bright blue patch of skin around the bill, and pink legs. Nonbreeding birds lack the flourishes of breeding birds and have yellowish legs. Juveniles have a rusty neck and rusty edged feathers.
🐦 The Tricolored Heron is the only dark colored heron with a white belly.
🐦One of the most abundant herons found in the Deep South, it was formerly called the Louisiana Heron.
🐦A group of herons has many collective nouns, including a "battery", "hedge", "pose", "rookery", and "scattering" of herons."
It has been a very warm winter in Virginia. It’s not very often I get to go camping in the winter with 60+ degree weather. Even though I’m enjoying these spring temperatures, I would like the chance to take my snowshoes out of the closet at least once this year. #blueridgeimagery#blueridgemountains#shennps#naturefirst
