All the things about this photo make my heart swell. My fellow photogs out there—do ya’ll ever find yourselves in a season of real, noticeable growth in your work? A season in which the things you’re producing surprise and delight you? One of those seasons where you’re in the flow and so grateful for each and every client that trusts you with their precious moments—moments that you feel like you’ve succeeded at turning into beautiful keepsake art? I’m in that season and I’m not ashamed to say that. I’m stoked about it! I love seeing how far I’ve come and getting glimpses of where I’m going, God has been so faithful to me with this business, and I truly love this work I get to do.
Had a Good Friday. Worked a little in the morning, got my workout in, had my nieces and a school friend over to play after school. A busy evening with lots of laughs and play. I hope you had a top day too!
I received this from my grandfather a few months ago. I was so pleased when he put this into my hands, especially since he was the one that got me into gardening. This handbook has some very interesting and helpful information some of this stuff I already knew about. #gardening#information#life#plants#horticulture#nebraska

My personal faves of the 2019 Halloween Collection ~ Sugar Skulls. I love the rainbow of colors and the floral detail. Avail in <> sizes, Mini through XL. The only reason I haven’t snagged a pair for myself yet is because I’m torn on the size! Medium? Large? Both? #hookedhandcrafted#leatherearrings#halloweenearrings
We have lived in several states and no matter where we are we find the best things about it and make it our home. We have lived in Nebraska twice and I thought it would be fun to share what we love about living here!
1️⃣ The people here are so nice. Definitely nicest of all of the places we’ve lived. We always feel safe here, I feel like people really look out for each other. And they are so supportive of the military!
2️⃣My babies were both born here (in the same room actually) so it’s a special place to us. And feels like home to them!
3️⃣So many family friendly activities. We have one of the best zoos in the country, amazing pumpkin patches, museums, and so many fun family festivals. There’s no shortage of things to do!
4️⃣ So many unique and fun restaurants. Not like we really take advantage of this one (ha!) but Omaha has the most restaurants per capita in the country. There are always such fun places to try for date/girls nights!
5️⃣ The schools. Our taxes are a bit steep (😅) but the schools here are magnificent. The second we walked into their school here we felt at home, felt welcome, and I know my kiddos are so well taken care of. They have learned so much the last 2 years!
6️⃣Our oily community here. We have created the best community that is so supportive of each other. I love spending time with them as we all strive to live a healthier, more natural life!!
Those are just a few of my favorite things! What do you love about where you live?!
This place, with these people 🥰
The first time I ever came here was long before any of our babies were born, and long before I knew the prominent spot Sean would hold in my life.
We’ve stayed here almost every year for the past eleven years. It’s as close to camping as I’ll ever attempt to brave with the babies, but outdoorsy enough to please my husband.
I never realize how much this weekend here means to me each year, but there’s just something about it I can’t help but appreciate. Can’t wait to always share this special place with my loves. 💖 We’ll always have Gretna. ⛺️
Boujee Barn Sisters: as we’ve so casually named our group 😂Heres a little backstory for you: My first opportunity to collaborate with @thea.does.the.things was back in January during WESA market, when we teamed up for a large influencer styled shoot. I was honestly terrified. I’d long been following Thea over at @thecowgirldiaries and I was beyond intimidated by this woman who was dominating all things life and business. Thea has been a long standing staple in this western industry and in many way was leading the crowd long before anyone else came along. I’d briefly met Thea in passing a couple years back but had never had the opportunity to visit in depth. Long story short, our first shoot together was a blast and has opened up a friendship I didn’t expect! This gal is truly as genuine as they come and I’m continually blown away by her kindness and kick-ass, take the world by storm demeanor. 🌟 I’m just happy I get to tag along for the ride. If you aren’t already, make sure you head to @thea.does.the.things & @thecowgirldiaries and follow along. You’ll be happy you did. ❤️ | #BTS at our latest shoot featuring @wearwoolies & @therustyrose | @danjabarberphotography@figure4ranchwife_life
Can I get a “hell yes?” 👌🏻 Shout out to @sarablakely who put this on her LinkedIn this morning and candidly shared her journey about getting married at 37. Living in Nebraska, I’ve definitely had people ask me “you seem like you have your shit together, why are you still single?” Because I won’t settle. And I don’t need to. TAG someone who needs to see this. Thanks Sara ;) #buildinganempire#bebacklater
