Thank you so much @brassrootsfood for last night’s super fun pickling activity and informational talk!
We never knew pickles could be so exciting 🥒😆
As always, we are thankful for the wonderful local partnerships we have with such amazing people and grateful for the group of youth runners+family members who showed up on a Wednesday night!
We call this pose “waiting on your Uber at 2am” ☠️🚗

👻⚜️🎃Over the past several years, I have taken thousands of street pictures in New Orleans. I take them from the exact vantage point of images that were taken anywhere from 50 years ago to over one hundred years ago. I blend them in what you see here. ⚜️⚜️⚜️The old spirits, ghost signs, buildings, and cars are as they were originally photographed.👻👻👻We walk among these spirits. ⚜️⚜️⚜️The life of spirit is present everywhere in New Orleans....from the music heard on every street corner, to the aroma of food being prepared in the kitchen… And if still enough, even in the faint sensation of the past seeping into the present. Or as @bobdylan said “The past is always around. The past doesn’t pass so quickly in New Orleans ” . ⚜️⚜️⚜️ So during this ghostly month of October, I will be posting some of these images every day. Look for all the signs from the past. For full resolution images, please go to my website which is listed in my bio. ⚜️🎃👻. 👉👉👉20% off website prices using promo code: BOO504.
